JUST A REMINDER: PEOPLE SURVIVED CENTURIES WITHOUT DATA CENTERS BUT HAVE NEVER SURVIVED WITHOUT CLEAN WATER.

Do you honestly think this is how a government should treat good honest people, @AndyBurnham? Does she look like a terrorist to you? No, she's simply exercising her right, as a British citizen, to protest, and she's doing it non violently. Get rid of this ridiculous proscription.
Replying to @K4rmaRules @andyburnham
Here’s the Met Police frisking an old granny for opposing the proscription of Palestine Action and the genocide in Gaza. It’s madness.

Sainsbury's usually hires about 17,000 extra workers at Christmas.
Instead they will have 10,000 people on 'Work Experience' paid for by YOU.
The result a massive, up to 10,000, DECREASE in the amount of actually jobs available.
Oh and it costs about £30m to YOU, and nothing to Sainsbury's.

June 18: 🇺🇸Trump buys up to $500K in Boeing stock. Same day Boeing gets $880M US Navy contract.
June 24: 🇺🇸Trump buys up to $250K in Palantir stock. Same day Palantir gets $45.8M government contract.
In any functioning democracy, this would be called massive corruption and he would have faced at least 2 years in jail.

Israel has said that paper kites flown by Palestinian children will be treated as weapons of war.
Read that again.
This is the reality of genocide: the total destruction of innocence, freedom and joy.
End all military cooperation with Israel, now.
Even though I'm posting this to get a 35% off coupon, I cant avoid saying it's freaking cool: lo.cafe/notchnook

The UK has somehow turned adult life into something millions can no longer afford.
People in their 30s work full-time and still can't afford a house, children or even to live alone.
Single people rent rooms in HMOs, while others stay with their parents because moving out would swallow most of their wages.
These aren't necessarily people who made terrible choices. They worked, paid bills and tried to save.
Yet they're told to work harder and spend less while housing and everyday costs keep rising.
At some point, you have to admit the problem isn't financial irresponsibility.
The numbers simply don't work anymore.

Welcome to the UK, where apparently earning money is just a subscription service to the government.
Earn a wage? Taxed.
Get a higher-paying job? Taxed more.
Pay National Insurance? Of course.
Pay council tax? Yep.
Start a side hustle to make some extra money? Taxed.
Invest the money you've already paid tax on? Taxed again when you make a profit.
Buy something with what's left? VAT.
You can work hard, earn more, try to save, invest and build something for yourself, and somehow there’s always another hand reaching into your pocket.
We’re constantly told to work harder, earn more and be financially responsible, while a huge chunk of everything we earn gets taken before we even get to decide what to do with it.
Then when you complain about the cost of living, you're told to "budget better."
There isn't a budgeting app in the world that can make being taxed from every direction affordable.

Our world is literally on fire because of corrupt billionaires.
Food shortages are imminent,
In a few years we’ll be fighting for water.
Yet you want to pretend ZACK POLANSKI is the threat.
Polanski’s Ministry of Truth starts with its first Big Lie — that UK media is controlled by a ‘few billionaires’. Total nonsense. But that’s indicative of what to expect in Polanski-world where the Ministry of Truth will be the vehicle for stifling truth and peddling convenient lies. We need a First amendment to protect free speech from the authoritarians on the left and right.

There is something deeply funny about billionaires convincing a man making $52,000 a year that the greatest threat to his freedom is another worker making $14 an hour who speaks Spanish.
Brother.
The immigrant didn't outsource your job.
The immigrant didn't buy your hospital.
The immigrant didn't raise your rent.
The immigrant didn't eliminate your pension.
You are being pickpocketed while somebody points dramatically at the guy standing next to you.

We’ve had some rain so naturally water companies are immediately discharging sewage into our seas again.
These people should be in prison, instead they receive million £ bonuses. For what? Polluting our water ways and restricting our water use?

UK household energy bills to rise to average of £1,729 a yr.
Profiteering is rife.
Rise will wipe out the promised £45 VAT cut.
Will increase poverty. 120,000 people a yr die in fuel poverty.
Can't ease cost of living crisis without ending profiteering
