Effective collaboration between regulators and industry is key to unlocking the future of satellite-enabled connectivity. As part of the @iPRIS_digital programme, SES engaged with telecom regulators from eight African countries to discuss the regulatory frameworks needed to support connectivity, sovereign communications, innovation and long-term digital growth. The exchange covered key topics including spectrum protection ahead of WRC-27, the need to differentiate between satellite and terrestrial regulations given their complementary roles, Space Situational Awareness and the long-term sustainability of the space environment. We look forward to continuing these important conversations to help shape the future of connectivity and space. Learn more about iPRIS: ipris.digital/
