Be a little delusional about the next 60 days. Your life can change faster than you think. Most people doubt it’s possible, then spend years proving themselves right. Believe bigger, stay focused, and let the next two months surprise you. Your whole story can change.

Justin Cryer in the middle of his postgame radio interview last night:
“I want to go on a quick tangent. I am so proud of Michael Terry and the way he played tonight. He stepped up in a big way. I had to tackle him all spring. I knew what he was capable of.” #HookEm
1. Nuke Special Teams
2. Critical of the OL, but created lanes when needed (200+ rush yards)
3. Football is about opportunities, Michael Terry needs to be on the field.
4. Get Colin healthy asap (0 sacks)

Steve Sarkisian said Arch Manning was “edgy” in practice this week.
So I’ve attributed every game played by the Longhorns to a song sung by My Chemical Romance.

One Piece is the anime that actually centers on fighting systemic government oppression, the World Government, Celestial Dragons, corrupt marine hierarchies, and the cost of freedom. That’s why its symbols (Straw Hat flag, Luffy’s crew) keep showing up in Gen Z protests from Nepal to France.
Most of the other cosplay (Piccolo, Goku, Akatsuki cloaks, etc.) is just people using a big public moment to dress as their favorites. That’s normal fandom, not a coordinated political message. Critics treating every anime reference as “terrorism” or “defaming Japan” are overreacting and missing the point. Pop culture has always been a language for resistance when traditional politics feel closed off.
One Piece has repeatedly been used as a protest symbol precisely because its story is unusually explicit about a corrupt global government, elite impunity, and ordinary people resisting. Other series have political or anti-authoritarian elements (Code Geass, Attack on Titan, parts of Fullmetal Alchemist, etc.), but One Piece’s World Government, Celestial Dragons and Marine system is one of the most sustained, central explorations of institutional oppression in mainstream shonen. Treating every Straw Hat flag as “terrorism” ignores that pattern and the fact that Gen Z in multiple countries has independently reached for the same symbol.
🚨🇯🇵 JAPANESE FANS BURST ON X
Japanese fans on X are expressing their anger over the use of anime imagery in controversial acts, saying:
• “Don’t Turn The One Piece flag into a symbol of TERRORISM!” 🏴☠️
• “DON’T USE ANIME TO JUSTIFY YOUR CRIMINAL ACTS!”
• “Now Days, Celestial Dragons Are Using The One Piece Flag!”
• “Don’t Defame Our Country & Anime!”
• “They Are Not REAL ANIME FANS, They Dont Even Watch Anime. they are people using ANIME FOR SOCIAL MEDIA FAME!”
