Enjoyed hosting @SenJonHusted (R-Ohio) at @iTrustCapital yesterday to discuss alternative assets in retirement accounts. Big things ahead as The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has shifted its stance on including cryptocurrency as an investment option in 401(k) plans.
Fiduciaries must remain diligent in their responsibilities to prudently evaluate the risks and suitability of such investments for plan participants. In other words, disclose the risks and limit exposure, perhaps no more than 10-20% allocation into crypto.

What's driving gold and Bitcoin adoption in the coming year:
- Runaway Federal debt
- The rise of corporate Bitcoin treasuries
- The fact Bitcoin actually improves risk-adjusted returns. Meaning it should be at least 1-5% of a portfolio
