Look who stopped by SNC today! What a joy to spend time with Tim, Andrea, and Ryan. Tim and Andrea planted Centerpoint Church in Burkesville, KY during my very first month as Kentucky DS. What a blessing it's been to watch their journey unfold. Tim is an outstanding pastor and a dynamic leader. God continues to use him in incredible ways at Estill Springs Nazarene in Tennessee. Grateful for their friendship! #NazareneFamily

What an incredible weekend at SNC! Our annual Missions Auction was amazing—and together, we broke the record for money raised for missions! Special thanks to Jeremy Bowden, our NMI chair, and our Missions Council for all their hard work. And thank you to everyone who gave, served, and helped make it such a special evening. God also moved in a powerful way in both services this morning. The Lord led me to take a break from our Full Access series and preach from Isaiah 43. The worship was anointed, His presence was evident, and many responded to the challenge to step forward and embrace the new thing God is doing at SNC. We’re grateful for what God has done—and full of expectation for what’s ahead. The best is yet to come! #SNClife

Kentucky State Fair, you’ve always been entertaining! A little bittersweet knowing this was our last one while calling Kentucky home. Thank you for the memories and the summer tradition. Until next time! 🎡 #KentuckyStateFair

Today was my last Sunday serving as District Superintendent of the Kentucky District Church of the Nazarene. In 2015, I arrived as the 41-year-old new guy—the youngest DS on the USA/Canada Region for several years. Today, I leave this role at 53 years young, incredibly grateful for nearly twelve years of serving the Kentucky District. A lot has changed over these years. I know I have. I’ve learned more than I could ever put into words, and I’ll carry the people, experiences, and memories with me for the rest of my life. A few weeks ago, I had the honor of praying over Harry and Anita Curry as Harry announced his resignation at Louisville First Church and accepted the call to become the next DS of Kentucky. This morning, on my final Sunday as DS, Harry and Anita prayed over Heather and me. There is something pretty special about that—a full-circle moment and a fitting way to close this chapter. To my KYNaz family: thank you. Thank you for believing in me, for loving my family, and for allowing me the incredible privilege of walking alongside you. I love and appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know. To my DS colleagues, especially those on the Southeast Region, past and present, thank you for your friendship, support, encouragement, and all the memories along the way. I leave this role with a grateful heart—thankful for what God has done, grateful for the privilege of being part of it, and confident in what He will continue to do through the Kentucky District in the days ahead. #KYNaz #Nazarene One chapter closes. Another begins. SNC, can’t wait to see you next Sunday! #SNClife

Today was Youth Sunday at Louisville First! The teens greeted us at the doors, led us in worship and prayer, received the offering, and Christian Thompson preached a powerful message from Revelation 3. And to top it all off six teenagers publicly professed their faith in Christ and were baptized! What a beautiful reminder that God is at work in the next generation. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to close this chapter of ministry in Kentucky. Praise His Great Name! #KYNaz #RenewEquipConnect #RECkentucky #Nazarene

It has been a true honor to serve alongside Dr. Harry and Anita Curry for nearly twelve years during my time as DS of the Kentucky District. Today, Harry announced that he has accepted the call to serve as the next District Superintendent for Kentucky. He will conclude an extraordinary 32-year ministry at Louisville First at the end of August. As ministers, whenever we leave a place of ministry, we pray that God will raise up the right person to follow us. I can think of no one better to step into this role than Harry Curry. He is a man of integrity, wisdom, and a deep love for Jesus and His Church. Heather and I are praying for Harry and Anita as they begin this exciting new chapter of ministry! #kynaz #renewequipconnect #RECkentucky #nazarene

If God is going to use you to make a difference in the world, expect opposition. Stay pure in heart, clear in mind, steadfast in faith, and keep pressing on. Jesus never said following Him would be easy. He only said it’d be worth it. #chasingJesus
