We might have our difficulties here in Africa, especially in Ghana, but one thing I will always pride myself on is how we were brought up as children, even in rough and tough neighbourhoods.
Murder is a big deal out here. It’s almost alien to us because whenever something like that happens, it becomes major news. We announce and discuss almost every single case in the media, and as a people, we are always shocked and saddened by it.
But it seems to have become an almost regular thing in some parts of the West, which makes it scary for my people to feel safe out there.
I honestly don’t know what kind of upbringing shapes children to become so evil. I think some of my fellow Black brothers and sisters out there need to do better when it comes to raising their children and instilling the right values in them.
It’s very unfortunate that we had to lose Javits this way. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Sending love, prayers and strength to the family, especially his mum and dad.
My deepest condolences. ❤️

We’ve seen DJ Mensah’s POV—now it’s Ato Lutterodt on the keys! 🎹🔥 Another angle from Sarkodie’s Rapperholic in Kumasi, giving the musicians behind the sound their moment. The crew deserves its flowers too!

A Google Cloud engineer just showed how to build a complete app with Claude from scratch.
26 minutes, live on stage, doing what most teams take weeks to ship.
Worth more than any $500 vibe-coding course. No team, no setup, just Claude and a goal.
The people learning what Claude can actually do are shipping what everyone else outsources to a team.

A beautifully curated excerpt from the Akwasidae Festival USA, captured by @codyblanestudios. 🇬🇭🇺🇸
From the breathtaking drone shots to the intimate moments on the ground, the video beautifully captures the grandeur, culture, and spirit of the celebration.
Akwasidae USA 2026 will undoubtedly go down as one of the most historic African cultural festivals ever held in the United States. 👑✨

Every sixth Sunday, Kumasi holds Akwasidae, a sacred Akan festival honoring ancestors, the king, and the golden stool that is believed to hold the soul of the Ashanti people.
I’m overjoyed to celebrate with His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the 16th king of the Asante kingdom to begin African Heritage Month.
Between England and Spain, which team is Barca fans supporting😂

Maybe the Europeans should have thought about all that back when they were colonizing Africa in the 19th century.
