“Anti-zionism” is way more dangerous than blatant antisemitism. If you think about it in virology terms 🦠 — its virulence might be lower, but its way more contagious
Saying "Zionists" instead of "Jews" doesn't make the hate any more acceptable. The Government of Canada now says it plainly: antisemitism includes anti Zionism. We didn't need a report to see it. But now it's on the record. publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/rsrcs…

Let the class action lawyers cook
The best way to pace the frontier is to hold the labs fully liable for the behavior of their models.

Everyone worries too much about artificial intelligence and not enough about natural stupidity.

The p(doom) discussion gets all the headlines, but the p(abundance) scenery is far more like and deserves much more engagement.

I like that OpenAI is just like- “here’s an awesome new model.” No doomerism. No gatekeeping. #onlytokens
We are working towards getting Astra in everyone's hands as quickly as we can; I know it is frustrating and I appreciate the patience. It should be quick.

In the near future, people are going to look at the FDA as regulatory capture

How is Omarchy “anti-woke”? It’s literally just an operating system. A beautifully designed OS.. but still an OS
I appreciate that folks on the right are excited about new institutions in Linux land that aren't captured by clowns and nonsense. But Omarchy isn't anti anything in its foundation. It's PRO having fun with beautiful, agentic computers without turning it all into politics.

Thank you for clarifying 😂
It’s pronounced “Hermes”, not “Hermes”

Can someone explain why agents hate to follow DRY patterns and re-use components? Am I doing something wrong

This is the perfect counter position to Anthropic. OpenAI needs to ditch the click-baity consumer focus and build towards a vision of elevating humanity by giving each person a rockstar team of agents. That’s the unlock for the individual. Not shopping or ads. While Anthropic is focused on AI doomerism, OpenAI can focus on optimism. Supporting the open source community via openclaw was a major first step towards human empowerment.
we want to build tools to augment and elevate people, not entities to replace them.

Google just rolled out AI mode 🤯

Here is some AI optimism for you- There’s a saying “A students work for the C students”. AI is the A student and humans are the C students

It’s not a “wrapper”. It’s a harness.

Strategically, Google choosing to open source is a smart move. It diverts revenues from frontier labs and helps them (Google) maintain their dominant position
Google’s level of disrespect is OFF THE CHARTS right now. Anthropic really thought they had us locked down with Claude Design’s ridiculous rate limits… …and now Google has literally countered it straight away by open-sourcing DESIGN.md 🤯

This is by far the fastest AI chat. 15k tokens/second. It’s INSANELY fast

I’d take it a step further- the only person who has to live with your decisions is you. Make the decisions you want to make and ignore everything else.
Stop taking advice from people who've never built anything. If they haven't put something on the line, their opinion on your risk isn't worth hearing. The people who judge the attempt are never the ones making one.
