ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਦਲੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ( 1838-1893) ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਖੁਸਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਇੰਗਲੈਂਡ ਲੈ ਆਂਦਾ । ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਮ ਤੱਕ ਜੱਦੋਜਹਿਦ ਕੀਤੀ ।ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ "ਸਿੱਖ" ਨੀਤਾਂ ਪਤ੍ਰੀ " ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ " ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੰਤਵ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੰਘਰਸ਼ਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੈ ।

I published this photo in my book ‘Sikhs in Britain’ in 2007. Then found out the photographs was actually of my masur with his brother and uncle when they lived in Liverpool. There was a whole series of photos done on them as an early Sikh migrant family #sikhinbritain
