This is such good news - a proper compensation scheme for victims is very, very long overdue. I just hope it gets through the rest of the parliamentary process without being watered down in any way.
Delighted @DianaJohnsonMP's amendment on the infected blood scandal passed tonight's vote. Putting in law that a body will be established to pay compensation to those infected&affected by the scandal within 3 months. I'd have supported it too. The current Tory MP for P&S did not
