"I don't understand the term "biological men."
My God, how long will Australians put up with this?

Highlight reel of Australia’s sex discrimination commissioner, the custodian of women’s rights, saying utter nonsense. It could on for hours but we’ve all got lives to lead so here’s 3 minutes.

The electorate aren’t goldfish. Our memories are long enough to recall June 2024, when you declared that trans-identified men with penises should be able to use women’s public bathrooms. It took a Supreme Court ruling to force you to uphold women’s rights, and now you pose as our bold champion? Please.
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls.
We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online.

The obvious disdain the sex discrimination commissioner has for “biological women” should, frankly, be disqualifying from holding the position.

I have legit spent the whole day laughing about the Australian Human Rights Commission engaging a “communications consultant” to help them answer senate estimate questions, only to humiliate themselves by saying men who claim to be women need breastfeeding protections in law.
You have to laugh or we will lose our minds over this insanity of all this.

I have to leave Australia so I can actually run a start-up exclusively for women while men who claim to be women have BREASTFEEDING PROTECTIONS IN LAW🤬
The current government, including representatives of the attorney-general, have no plans to fix it. They’re happy to admit it:

Oh dear … here’s Precious Andy explaining in 2016 that the free movement of people has destroyed jobs in the UK…
He’ll say anything for power. But you must know that by now.
It’s just a race to the bottom hey Andy?

This is one of the most blatant examples of gaslighting you’ll ever see.
This clip sums up the Labour Party. It sums up Angela Rayner. And, frankly, it sums up too most politicians.
Laura Kuenssberg asks Rayner about Andy Burnham opening the door to a return to freedom of movement. He’s started the debate by talking about it.
Kuenssberg: “The Labour manifesto in 2024 said in black and white ‘there will be no return to freedom of movement’. You stood on that manifesto. Andy Burnham promised to stick to that manifesto. He’s breaking that promise, isn’t he?”
Then this from Rayner: “No he isn’t, because he’s been really clear that this Parliament, that manifesto, we are clear we are not reopening that debate.”
Unbelievable. Even by her standards.
Kuenssberg put her right immediately: “He’s literally just reopened this debate. It’s exactly what’s just happened.”
She denies the debate has been reopened in the same breath as it is being reopened. They will say anything, no matter how obviously contradictory.
We watch car crash after car crash from Labour ministers, yet they keep rising in the polls. No wonder the country is in such a mess.

Because a certain kind of man believes that not getting everything he wants from women is oppression. This applies both to incels and to the type of trans-identified man who insists that speech, laws and physical spaces should be reconfigured around his self-image.

Disgraced former Labour politician to be a core participant in the Government’s National Inquiry into Grooming Gangs.
I hope she will be challenged over her wrongdoing towards Rotherham survivors, including her attempts to silence them and me by reporting us to the police and instructing solicitors to take me to court.
She failed miserably. Truth always comes out in the end.

James Cameron still has time to make another film like True Lies. While I respect & admire the work Cameron did on Avatar, I’ll always wonder what else Cameron could’ve made in the decades he devoted to Avatar. True Lies is a stand-alone film from Cameron that’s 1) hilarious 2) has incredible action and 3) great performances. It feels like Cameron takes himself too seriously at this point in his career to make another film like True Lies. But I know one person who would love it if Cameron did & that’s the man writing this Tweet.

Neither of those points change my view. I wouldn't mind him taking time to do these things if he was also doing the ACTUAL job he's paid to do. But he's not. He is tinkering around with trivial stuff while ignoring all the big issues and kicking vital decisions into the long grass. (And don't pretend his words about social care are an actual policy or action; they aren't.)
