We’re not asking the industry to ignore the risks. We’re asking it to examine the technology, verify the progress and judge the community by what it builds next. The old narrative isn’t the whole story.

No architecture gets every prediction right. The real test is whether it can adapt when requirements change. Protocol evolution, cryptographic agility and maintainable infrastructure matter far beyond the next market cycle.

Markets rotate. Narratives fade. Technical design remains available for anyone willing to examine it. Parallel PoW, programmable authority and a community maintaining the protocol: that’s why this story deserves another look.

A technology doesn’t need to dominate every category to matter. It needs to solve a real problem well enough that people choose it. Chainweb and Pact give us something concrete to build around. Adoption is the next test.

Hi @MiningPoolStats, your Kadena (KDA) page is outdated. The project is community-led now. Your contact form is broken, so we are reaching out here. Please update the logo, release version, and links. Here are the correct details: 🧵👇

The market can ignore a project. Developers can still build. Narratives can change overnight; reliable code takes work. We’re focused on the technology, the network and what comes next.

An AI agent may be capable of executing a transaction. That doesn’t mean it should be authorized to spend everything. The future needs systems that separate capability from permission. That’s where Pact’s design becomes interesting.

Self-custody is power, but it comes with responsibility.
These 3 rules are the absolute bare minimum for keeping your kadena:native safe. Thanks to @eckoWALLET for the vital reminder. 🔐

A lost phone shouldn't mean a lost wallet. Three steps to a backup that holds up: 1. Write the phrase on paper, offline. 2. Keep two copies stored apart. 3. Never type it into anything that asks. The eckoWALLET team will never ask for your seed. docs.eckowallet.com

The next AI breakthrough won’t be just better answers. It will be systems that can act within verifiable limits. Programmable permissions, contract execution and reliable settlement could become essential infrastructure.

Financial infrastructure should be understandable enough to inspect, not just powerful enough to execute. Pact emphasizes readable contract logic and supports formal verification. That’s a design philosophy worth taking seriously.

A company can close. A public blockchain can continue. What matters next is whether developers maintain the code, miners secure the network and users have reasons to stay. That’s the work behind Kadena Community Edition.

AI agents will need more than wallets. They’ll need enforceable boundaries around what they can do. Pact capabilities offer an interesting foundation for expressing permissions directly in programmable financial systems.

AI can generate plans, write code and make decisions. But money still needs deterministic rules and settlement. The intersection of autonomous agents, Pact and PoW-secured infrastructure deserves serious attention.

Smart contracts shouldn’t merely execute instructions. They should define who has authority, under which conditions, and within what limits. Pact’s capability model makes programmable authority a compelling area to explore.

Crypto spends too much time debating tickers and too little time comparing architectures. Chainweb’s parallel-chain design is one of the more distinctive approaches to scaling PoW. Study the system before dismissing it.

People remember the price chart. Engineers should examine the architecture. Chainweb, Pact and a community continuing to develop the protocol deserve more than a verdict based on what happened to one company.

Most blockchains scale by adding layers. Chainweb takes a different approach: multiple interconnected Proof-of-Work chains operating in parallel. Different architecture. Different trade-offs. A design worth revisiting.

Thank you for capturing this so well @anonkyc . 🙏 This is exactly what Proof-of-Work was built for — resilience.
When the company left, the chain didn't stop. Miners kept hashing, nodes kept syncing, and the community kept shipping. Same chain, same contracts, no central sequencer.
The network belongs to the people who run it.

⚡️ On October 21, 2025, when the company behind Kadena shut down the market treated the chain as dead.
But it wasn’t.
🌟 Miners kept hashing. Nodes kept running. Former Kadena engineers and the community continued the exact same chain from block 6,335,858 on November 8.
Same KDA. Same balances. Same Pact contracts. Same 20-chain Chainweb.
This is one of the clearest real-world examples of a Proof-of-Work network surviving its founding company.
Kadena isn’t a single chain. It’s 20 braided proof-of-work chains that reference each other. Shared security + parallel throughput, with the ability to add more chains later. No central sequencer. No validator set that can halt it.
Upgrades now require miner vote (~2/3 hashrate over a multi-day period) instead of a company schedule.
The community has kept shipping: APT node installs, community oracle (KIA), Kadena Earn, and tooling.
KDA is still a pure PoW smart-contract platform. It’s just no longer dependent on the original company.
