Built a pattern drafter that allows you put in your measurements, pick an outfit type and allows you print out the draft at the actual size.
This works for fashion enthusiasts who would love to sew and it makes drafting faster for tailors

This week’s theme in Africana Studies 101 was “The Wretched” and was all about who Black Studies attends to and thinks alongside in contrast to other fields. Started the week with excerpts from Fanon’s Wretched of the Earth and ended with Haile Gerima’s Bush Mama.

I’m hard on parents because I don’t believe in accidentally becoming a parent that’s not a real thing. You choose to become a parent so stop sucking at it. Those kids didn’t ask you to have them and they don’t deserve to be failed by you. Loser.

These types of tropes are made to groom women to accept the worst, filthiest men. A man would never love a monster woman.

This is a topic I could speak about at length but unfortunately I don’t have the character count. High level it’s grooming, isolation + toxic workplace and systemic failures/ abuse of power.

i think about this photo at least once every 30 minutes... it too cute.... like your fav little treat is a few sips of milk... are you kidding... and you're a little bird.... how am i supposed to handle this
People do not like it when you want to be intentional about having children. I always tell people I’m not having children without a certain amount in the bank account and without extensive pre-counseling, including medical counseling. They be mad asf
I stumble on TikToks of people who planned for kids and i wish more people talked about it, I’m seeing couples change eating habits, embrace fitness, save for their kids expenses, intentionally move to areas with good zip codes for school sake, heck even plan what time in the year they’re conceiving, to ensure they’re born in the right timeframe for school. It’s alot of work that goes into kids!

If the world is getting a little too much may I recommend the inexplicably obsolete word ‘latibulating’, from the 17th century? To latibulate is to find a cosy corner somewhere and hide in it.

Yes, but Africans deserve to live, travel and exist freely without constantly having to fear for their lives.
