Some cybersecurity content has convinced beginners they are “behind” because they haven't learned SIEM + pentesting + cloud + Python + malware analysis by 22.

I have two personalities: “technology is incredible” and “why does this require an account?”

Unpopular opinion: if your cybersecurity roadmap makes a beginner more confused after reading it, it's not a roadmap. It's a syllabus dump.

Beginner: “How do I get into cybersecurity?” Internet: “Here are 19 certifications, 34 tools, Python, cloud, malware analysis, OSCP and apparently Kubernetes.” #cyberreality

Went on vacation. Took the laptop “just in case.” ...we all know how this story ends. 🙃

Self-care idea: closing tabs you know you'll never read.

Being friends with someone in cybersecurity means occasionally receiving “DON'T CLICK THIS” followed immediately by a link. 🫶

If AI disappeared tomorrow, could you still conduct the threat investigation it helped you finish today?

AI Tip: The skill worth building now isn't prompt engineering alone. It's knowing enough about your domain to recognize when the generated answer shouldn't be trusted.

Don't ask AI "Who is behind this campaign?" and you've already nudged it toward finding someone. Sometimes the better prompt is: "Is there enough evidence to attribute this at all?"
