A man's body was found inside a black garbage bag Friday morning in Brooklyn's Canarsie neighborhood. The discovery happened around 9:30 a.m. at the corner of East 93rd Street and Avenue L. Police said the victim appeared to be a man in his 50s or 60s. Even after Javits Frimpong's horrific murder, the media continues to dehumanize him by referring to him as an immigrant and not a child. He is a child who was bullied at school and then murdered in cold blood on the street.

I am in disbelief that after Javits Frimpong was shot in the stomach, he laid there on the concrete for 30 minutes b/c multiple people saw him, walked by and didn’t call 911. He could’ve survived. So many people failed him and that’s a reflection of a “me first” community.
