Language is ambiguous, but NLP often makes the simplifying assumption that it's not. In work with @icoson and @ben_vandurme we introduce ✨AmP✨, a new framework for studying ambiguity in semantic parsing, esp. with LLMs esteng.github.io/assets/pdf/… (arxiv link to come) 1/10

As a faculty member at @JohnsHopkins, I'm appalled that this thank-you $500 bonus is apparently not going to graduate students. What is the rationale here? Our grad students have been doing teaching & research in very trying conditions. covidinfo.jhu.edu/faq/?mc_ci…

So to summarize - The Trump Administration has rescinded the 7/6 F-1 students directive. Schools can go online if they want. No new I-20s needed. F-1 visas should be proceeding. Congratulations Harvard and the Wilmer Hale team. Big big win!
