The main remaining problem is reaching 65% of the EU population in all the countries that vote 'yes'.

With everyone making their own software constantly we are going to start seeing team and community specific protocols so there’s interoperability between all the shit people are making

lobste.rs/s/h0eate/updates_s… Okay, interesting. The new guidelines include removal of the 'vibecoding' tag, and no more links to code repos wholesale. It's a good enough change; if you can write a post about your repo, you can submit it. Separates the writes and write-nots (paulgraham.com/writes.html).
Lobsters should make it a rule that you're only allowed to suggest the 'vibecoding' tag if you're a vegan.

I guess it has a "Not interested in this post" button. I'd like to also positively reinforce the algorithm!

Well, while I'm here I suppose…
The trick to Switzerland: buy the Travel Pass months in advance so the pain of the expense fades, and the whole trip feels free. 🇨🇭

Almost always had a good experience with this, EXCEPT two days ago where a dude here in Switzerland asked me where I'm from (live in Finland, originally India), and he then somewhat stupidly tries to tell me that "it's better for me to live in my own country". He was Greek, by the way.
Treating “Where are you from?” as some sort of racial slight has always been a sign of insecurity/shame. If you’re proud of your identity, you should be eager to yap about it at length. But if you’re secretly embarrassed of it, then such a question would make you huff.

Pretty sure 30 min doable in Helsinki.
There is no faster city for flying than San Francisco. 9:10pm: Leave house 9:32pm: Arrive at SFO 9:40pm: Get to gate 9:43pm: Boarding starts 9:48pm: At seat I’ve never done a 38min house-seat time before.
