𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗥 𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗣𝗛𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧 — 𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 ⁣⁣⁣Here’s your so-called 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 Seattle. ⁣⁣⁣Newly inaugurated Mayor Katie Wilson promised that 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦. ⁣⁣⁣Then an independent journalist calmly tested that claim — and she 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆. ⁣⁣⁣Cam Higby stood in line, followed the rules, and asked two straightforward questions: ⁣⁣⁣One, whether citizen journalists — whom she previously labeled 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘴 — have a place in her Seattle. ⁣⁣⁣Two, what her administration plans to do about 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀. ⁣⁣⁣Her response? ⁣⁣⁣𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿.
