The first three years of life shape a lifetime for every child. UNICEF joined @MoHFW_INDIA for launch of Samagra Shishu Bal Swasthya Karyakram guidelines, a significant milestone in advancing integrated and continuous care for children from birth to three years of age.
An engaging group-work session at the National Workshop on SSBSK saw States/UTs deliberate on the SSBSK Implementation Action Plan across six key themes; Risk-Differentiated Care & Joint Visits; ECD & Responsive Care; Rollout of the Shaishav App & DSS; Post-partum Maternal Mental Health; Operationalization of Well-Baby Sessions at VHSND and Shishu Shivir at AAM and the Capacity Building Plan for various fiwld functionaries.
Participants interacted actively, exchanged experiences and carved out the way forward, and presented their State plans for SSBSK implementation; reaffirming a shared commitment to every child's survival, growth and development.
