We have become a generation that wants honest conversations but gets offended by honest answers. We want change but defend the very habits keeping us stuck. Maybe it's time we started questioning ourselves. Welcome to the uncomfortable conversations.

The real influence of an idea isn't measured by how many people applaud it, but by how many people examine their thinking because of it. Applause is easy. Reflection is harder. Change is harder still. Let's stop confusing visibility with impact.

A society can have intelligent people and still make terrible collective decisions. Because intelligence isn't always the problem. Sometimes it's fear, tribal loyalty, personal interests and the refusal to think independently.

Perhaps our greatest challenge isn't a shortage of smart people, but a shortage of independent thinking. Do we think for ourselves, or have we simply mastered defending the opinions we're handed?

I do not like Rigathi but this is a proper politician. I don't think there exists a clip where Kalonzo speaks so authoritatively and passionately about something the way chaps did hapa.

Senator Edwin Sifuna: The govt has no intention of lowering the cost of electricity; they don’t want to take thermal plants from the grid because they are the ones holding contracts for the supply of diesel to those plants.

The true character of people is revealed when they no longer need anything from you. The moment what kept them is fulfilled, their masks peel off. When a person depends on you, he is forced to be respectful, courteous, obedient, or faithful. Most people are liars, pretentious, and morally corrupt, but they are forced to pretend to be good because there is something they gain from you. Be very alert when dealing with people, and that includes your relatives. Keep your circle as thin as possible.
