No. It needed—like its superior British processor—a final chapter that was Frank’s downfall. Ending it at this point after season two would have been absurd.

I have an extremely hard time believing that there is a serious pollster, political scientist, or campaign consultant who would even suggest describing the actual GOP electorate this way. Last time I looked at polling most evangelical Christians didn't even know what Christian Nationalism was. This is a Very Online, very siloed way of talking about politics. The idea that Vance can unite the people Sohrab meets at conferences is at least plausible. The idea that the "New GOP" he describes resembles the broader, ground-level, GOP coalition and electorate is close to preposterous.
There are five factions in the new GOP:
- Restorationists
- Tech Accelerationists
- Populists
- Christian Nationalists
- Common Gooders
@JDVance is the only figure who can bridge all of them around one shared cause: reversing mass migration.
My essay.

I, a guy who has a podcast about the Rangers and who writes about the Rangers regularly, has committed the unforgivable crime of commenting on the Rangers
I will do the work and try to be better, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time
So @NYRChip23 and I set out to do a New York Yankees postmortem podcast. And we did do that. But then Connor Hellebuyck got traded to the Devils, and we gave some thoughts on that, too.

JT Miller be out there putting the STINK in instinctual
Sullivan talked this morning about wanting the #NYR power play to be more instinctual. Both the top two units did small-ice drills yesterday to try and help bring that out.
On the IL
Where does Giancarlo Stanton fit in the Yankees' plans for 2027? mlb.com/yankees/news/giancar…
Well that’s some good news
Yankees give pitching coach Matt Blake a three-year extension, per @JonHeyman
Yankees had a 3.23 team ERA this year. That's their best in a full season since 1978, when they had a 3.18 ERA and went on to win the World Series
I just don't understand the caginess here. Sully knows who is playing tonight. If he hasn't broken it to the players yet, okay, sure fine. But I feel like everyone already knows.
So, what, you don't want to Ottawa to know if they have to game plan around ::checks notes:: Luke Glendening?
It's maddening how the culture in the NHL is to not be forthcoming about ANYTHING.
#NYR head coach Mike Sullivan not giving any info on lineup ahead of game vs. Senators.
He called Roberton’s recall “more the business side of it” and “making sure we’re prepared for any scenario.”
Assuming Durzi is game-time decision.
Wouldn’t say if Glendening will play.
It wasn't a "stinker" from Garand. He wasn't as good as he'd been, but he was about equal to Bobrovsky with -2 GSAE in that game.
James Reimer is getting called up before too long.
Odds that they swing a major goalie trade diminish by the day because it doesn't make sense to add a goalie with term, and the expiring contract set isn't clearly better than what they have: blueshirtbanter.com/5-realis…
Given Hellebuck trade
And Garands stinker last night
#NYR most likely trading for a goalie today
NYR was holding up the goalie market
To the first point, basically what Herman said here: xitter.cf/AdamZHerman/status/211…
Glendening is 4C
And until I see him on the ice for a game, I don’t think Morrow is playing for the Rangers. Even if I do see him in a game, I might not believe it.
Spencer Martin being waived in 5 … 4 … 3 …
Wolf Pack Blank Bruins 2-0 Behind Reimer's 35 Save Shutout
James Reimer was stellar in his first start in Hartford as the Wolf Pack got back in the win column.

Netflix's new documentary, THE TALE OF NORM MACDONALD, is kind of amazing, both in terms of its content (lots of Norm!) and its form (it recreates going down a video rabbit hole amazingly well). I talked about it with Norm chronicler @geoffedgers: thebulwark.com/p/the-tao-of-…
