I absolutely agree with you on this .May the soul of the departed rest in peace .I also wish the goal keeper the very best because I'm sure no one would intentionally want to end up getting someone killed during a football match .It's heart -wrenching .

Can he be criminally liable? I can't say. Civil though? Yes. That tackle was beyond the acceptable threshold in sports. He had time to think and stop. It's cost someone dearly, sadly, his life. Simply reckless. See: Clark v. Elbanna EWCA Civ 776.

Trust me; that goalkeeper will be traumatized for life. He is not going to be the same after this. This is his karma for life. Whatever his intentions were, it wouldn’t matter anymore. A life was lost

🚨 THOUGHTS 💭 For those blaming the goalkeeper, let me explain the context of the game. The scoreline of the game was 2-2, the game was in the 90+7 minute and that was virtually the last attack of the game. The goalkeeper was with the away team and they’re sitting in the relegation zone. The goalkeeper rushed off his line and made that tackle when he saw the player was through on goal. He knew straightaway it was a red card, that’s why he didn’t argue and started wallowing off immediately. His teammates gestured a “well done” to him for the tackle. While he was leaving, he realized that the medics were rushing into the pitch to attend to the player, that was when he realized how brutal the collision was on the striker and he rushed back to the scene out of guilt and the game was subsequently suspended. Today the player is dead. In as much as the tackle can be deemed dangerous display, it is still part of what we see in the game every other day. Let’s not crucify the goalkeeper, it’s simply an accident in football.

This is why I don’t really blame goalkeepers that “don’t do everything to stop a goal” You can’t really regulate your posture or body movement if you’re trying to do to stop a goal by all means. See what happened with Donnaruma and Musiala that time too.

I think we need to be careful about how we approach this incident. As unfortunate as De Miguel’s death is, we cannot automatically conclude that Owono should be charged with murder. Under FIFA Law 12, a challenge that involves excessive force or endangers an opponent’s safety can amount to serious foul play and attract a straight red card. However, football disciplinary rules and criminal law are two different things. The fact that a player has died following a challenge does not, by itself, establish that the goalkeeper committed murder. We must look at how the challenge happened, whether he acted with gross negligence, and whether his actions legally caused the player’s death. Football is a contact sport, and players accept certain risks when they step onto the pitch. A red card may be enough to deal with the incident from a footballing perspective, but criminal liability is an entirely different question.
Dear football Twitter lawyers in the house, what will be the possible outcome for this goalkeeper Owono Jesus reckless challenge on Tenerife stricter Jesus se Miguel? The player is dead, will the goalkeeper be charged for murder?

As a football/Sports agent, it is important that you prevent any form of future dogonturenchi. Protect your interest. Protect your brand legally. Prevention is better than ‘I should have done..’

How are we going to make this money??😭😭 PS: This is A video from 2 years ago🌚
I used to be a yapper on TikTok!!’ Like it gave me so many followers oo. My page actually grew to 50K plus. Then all of a sudden I started feeling like I wasn’t doing enough.. I should dive into content creation fully where I review products and do this and that. Then I fell off like maddd. I put myself under the unnecessary pressure of wanting to be an INFLUENZA that I lowkey lost sight of what actually works for me. Since that wasn’t working, I decided to take a break from that space and that’s how I lost over 5K followers in the last one year. I should really go back to doing what I love and what works. Sometimes, we really are our own problem 😪💔
