Really sad to read this. Many years ago (I think it was 1989) I went to watch Kent vs Glamorgan at Canterbury. I was only 17 but I remember watching Hugh Morris batting with Alan Butcher and he got 50s in both innings. 💔
Few thoughts after watching #EngvsInd.
1. There’s Test cricket - & everything else is a poor imitation
2. @root66 is England’s greatest ever batsman
3. Eng can beat Austrailia if @benstokes38 is fit
4. Test cricket has to be played over 5 days
5. @RickyPonting is class pundit

The standard of our fielding especially is miles behind #India - let alone Australia.

I met Dave Moore after the 70-year-old finished a 2-hour bowling machine session.
He then cycled 15 miles home to Kirkham with his cricket bag on his bike… and he currently can’t get a game!!.
