Don't be discouraged because you're not where you want to be in life yet. Every day you write, read, edit, or even have new ideas, you're getting better. Success isn't instantaneous. It's about getting a little bit better every day. As long as you're improving, you can't fail.

I’m a pretty confident person but I suffer from self-doubt regularly too. Before I joined the #writingcommunity, no one took me seriously as a writer. Half the people I met actually tried to persuade to get a “real” job.
I’m so very glad I didn’t heed their unsolicited advice.
