After years of experience in joining in DePIN, and contributing to build like on tokenomics of other projects, I decided to move this important step into Co-Founder & Creator of @HaLoWaveNetwork with the hope of improving DePIN's current challenging situation.
The DePIN sector is facing a harsh reality: “taking an existing good Web2 business model and simply adding a token to create a global network” is no longer enough. Monetization is proving more and more difficult because just replicating a good Web2 is not always enough.
DePIN must be ambitious and completely bring something new. We need to build infrastructure that doesn't even exist in Web2 yet.
This way, the network we build becomes so critical that its monetization and utility rival the traditional Web2 sector, not just Web3.
It’s something different and difficult but that’s exactly what @leewalker87 and I are doing with HaLoWave. We are building the world's first global Wi-Fi HaLow network 🌊
While the protocol is still flying under the radar for most, industry experts know what is coming: over 100 million HaLow IoT devices are projected to be connected in the coming years.
We are front-running traditional telcos to become the baseline infrastructure for this massive shift.

But vision is nothing without execution. Two things must change in this space:
1. Tokenomics: Projects need to stop being greedy. We are structuring our tokenomics to allocate >50% of the network directly to the community.
2. Hardware: No vaporware. Our HaLoWave Miners and Wi-Fi Routers are already fully functional. They are actively creating the network, with the Router acting as a client hub that converts the HaLow connection into classic 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for regular devices. We are ready to deploy across 50 countries with more coming soon.
I am proud of what we are building HaLoWave and we have the ambition to improve the sentiment on DePIN sector.

How to Enable (if you haven't yet) the B2B Bandwidth:
1. Go to console.halowave.io, click on My Devices and select your HaLoWave Miner.
2. Find the Enterprise Bandwidth Routing feature.
3. Click Start Earning.
4. After about 30 minutes, the status will change to "earning".
Important B2B Bandwidth Rules:
- No Datacenters or VPNs. Your HaLoWave miner must be connected to a public residential IP (this can be your home internet connection or a mobile SIM).
- Strictly 1 HaLoWave miner per public IP. Installing multiple miners on the same IP will not generate more revenue. You must deploy miners on different public IPs to achieve higher earnings.
- Earnings depend entirely on your GB consumption and IP location. The more gigabytes consumed, the higher your rewards. However, B2B Bandwidth demand varies globally: US, Europe, and Canada IPs currently have the highest demand and generate the most revenue, while other regions experience lower demand. We strongly advise against running other personal consumer bandwidth apps on the same IP address, as this leads to lower B2B bandwidth earnings.

In Part 3, we are finalizing the outdoor setup. Inside the IP67 waterproof box, the @ReolinkTech camera is connected via LAN to the HaLoWave Wi-Fi Router.

Hi everyone, we have released an important update for the HaLoWave Network, HaLoWave Miners and HaLoWave Wi-Fi Routers. Here are the two main updates:
1. 6-Digit Code Verification Email
We have introduced a 6-digit confirmation code via email to increase user security. If your email is configured in the settings on console.halowave.io/, you must now enter the 6-digit code to unlock your device.
(Note: We highly recommend everyone to add their email to receive also alert notifications in case the device goes offline).
The 6-digit code is also required to change the owner wallet address and email, blocking any unauthorized changes in case your wallet is compromised.
(Note: Always protect your wallet and be careful not to click on strange links).
2. Data transfer 1 MHz on country 863-870 MHz For operating regions in the 863-870 MHz band, where the duty cycle obligation must be respected, the data transfer channel has been reduced from 2 MHz to 1 MHz. Unlike the United States, for example, where the shift from 4 MHz to 8 MHz provides an increase in speed, going from 1 MHz to 2 MHz doesn’t offer a real speed improvements at long distances. Instead, the 1 MHz channel guarantees a much greater stability for long-distance installations, such as the cameras we are testing. While short-range setups will experience a decrease in maximum speed, the absolute priority of the network is to offer the best stability and performance for long-distance use cases.
Following this update, the Proof of Data Transfer (PoDT) Hard Cap for users in 863-870 MHz countries is no longer 50 GB, but is now set to 20 GB. By consuming 20 GB daily via for example the HaLoWave Wi-Fi Router, you can achieve the maximum 3.00x multiplier as stated in the Tokenomics. Global regions without these restrictions maintain the 50 GB Hard Cap.
