These awesome meegs pooled their ETH to gift @0xQuit a superhero Nakamigo as a thank you for helping save hundreds of Cloaks and Nakamigos from being drained. A community favorite trait with only a handful listed.
I reached out to @TheavgHomeless about creating a piece to celebrate everyone who contributed. He volunteered to make it free of charge.
The Nakamigos community is full of kind individuals who are still here and never quit.
Hi @0xQuit
The Nakamigos community sent you a superhero migo as a thank you for helping recover the Nakamigos and Cloaks.
don't feel obligated to hold. we just wanted to say thanks.

Ser you're not including all burn sources and total burn count and yes, HOOKR’s primary pool launched hookless. That was a deliberate distribution decision, not the limit of Hookr.
If you’ve built products before, you know distribution is everything. At the latest check, HOOKR was the first asset in pools.trade’s Top tokens shelf with 5,100+ holders. That visibility is priceless. Why wouldn’t builders want to launch or integrate a hook somewhere that gives them users, distribution and immediate feedback?
HOOKR also isn’t permanently hookless. Our next updated this week lets existing tokens create fresh custom-hook pools without altering their original pools. I’ll personally use liquidity from my dev buy to seed a hook-enabled HOOKR pool as the first live use-case example.
In regards to the burn, OpenZaps is only our first live integration, and fees from it have already sent over 2.6M HOOKR to 0xdEaD. Even if that pace stayed exactly the same, it annualizes to roughly 90M HOOKR—about 9% of the supply. That’s a run-rate illustration, not a prediction.
But we’re obviously not going to sit still. We already have two verified burn routes, and every successful hook block or integration can open another recurring fee stream and potential burner.
Our first five blocks—Anti-Snipe, Surge Fees, Auto Burn, LP Rewards and Nth-buy Pot—were deliberately basic primitives used to prove the concept. Timed Exit, Credential Gate, Revenue Router, LP Loyalty, Market Guard and Maturity Rewards are already in source/testing. We’re also working with builders on Arb Recapture, fee tokenization, permissioned ranged-liquidity accounts, new hook-driven markets and deliberately phased leverage.
The real bet is modular, composable infrastructure where builders create reusable blocks and integrators combine them behind one root hook. Each useful block can create another possible revenue and burn rail through module fees, royalties, LP flows or tokenized fees.
We’re all seeing how aggressive fee extraction plays out over time. You don’t onboard billions by taking a huge cut from the builders and integrators creating the value. Hookr wins through distribution, reuse and aligned participation.

One part of $Hookr I still don’t think people fully appreciate:
You don’t necessarily have to launch the next successful token to win on the platform.
You can build the infrastructure other tokens and assets actually want to use.
A developer can create a useful hook, publish it to the Hookr marketplace and other projects can reuse that logic in their own markets. If that hook generates eligible fees, the original creator can earn from its continued use.
Now take that model beyond new token launches.
Imagine tokenized stocks like AAPL, NVDA, RWAs, ETH or BTC becoming programmable assets that can plug into lending, collateral markets, liquidity strategies, automated yield, custom fee logic and entirely new market structures.
Instead of AAPL simply sitting in a wallet tracking the stock price, builders could potentially create entirely new ways for that asset to interact onchain.
So then the interesting part is that builders don’t necessarily need to launch another token to monetize what they create.
I feel like the reduction in shitters will substantially shrink and a whole new market and revenue stream will open up for giga brained devs & creators.
Build a valuable hook.
Publish it on the open market.
Let other markets & tokens use it.
Earn as that financial logic gets adopted.
That creates a pretty interesting flywheel:
More builders → more hooks → more strategies → more diverse markets → more assets finding reasons to use Hookr.
It’s almost an App Store for programmable financial logic.
And if tokenized stocks and RWAs become as large as people expect, the real opportunity isn’t simply getting those assets onchain it’s building the marketplace for everything those assets can do once they’re there.
ATHs are nice but….
I still think we’re very early in understanding what $HOOKR could actually become.
Lock in & don’t fade novel tech. The market doesn’t know how to price it. DeFi 2.0 is coming & personally I think @Hookrfun will be the backbone/middle ware tech that helps it along.

.@Hookrfun is sending its leverage hooks to Uniswap for final verification by end of week.
The team is in the final stage of locking down the first version, minimizing risk and ensuring all liquidations are guaranteed before the contracts go over for sign-off. A direct line to the Uniswap team makes the verification process straightforward once the final version is ready.
The other thing mentioned alongside the technical build is simplicity. Even the best product goes unused if it's too hard to grasp, so an ELI5 demo is being built alongside the launch to make sure people can actually understand what they're interacting with.

Here’s the pitch:
Introduced by @sartoshi_rip with his EOS passes, @Nakamigos were a free mint for over 16,000 NFTs. However only like 13K were utilized. The rest sold at Dutch auction settling at .01ETH before minting out. The artist was revealed a year later as @MillsxArt, who after quite sometime was discovered to likely be the IRL brother of sartoshi. Behind Nakamigos is HiFo Labs, a mysterious nearly untraceable entity that claims to have several years of experience in NFTs dating back to 2017. Over the course of 3 years, nobody has been able to confirm their identities.
Nakamigos are intended to represent the “friends of Satoshi Nakamoto,” celebrating the origins of BTC and crypto and NFTs. Before there were any expectations.
Nakamigos are 24x24 pixel art, inspired directly from @cryptopunks and offering the same IP rights bestowed upon Punks by @yugalabs. The art is beautiful, dare I say iconic. The traits represent more modern, refined versions of CryptoPunks including jerseys of NFL and NBA legends, white and blue collar occupations, and 90s NYC hip-hop fashion. Nakamigos were labeled as 20K unique crypto investors on the @Ethereum blockchain.
Since Nakamigos introduction, holders have received free claims towards several other secondary NFT collections, as you previously noted. There have also been grants given to community members and charitable donations to Give Directly along the way. Nakamigos are the most transacted NFT pfp of all time and a top 50 trading volume project of all time in less than 3 years.
Finally, Nakamigos are shrouded in mystery with notable endorsements and acknowledgments coming from @Beeple, @Richerd, @redbeardnft, and even @larvalabs. The acquisition of CryptoPunks IP by @nodefnd was even foretold months earlier by Beeple stating, “Nakamigos Acquires CryptoPunks.” Nakamigos have stayed relevant in the NFT zeitgeist for years, taking up mindshare and taking over the timeline on numerous occasions. Nakamigos have also been featured in over 140 Beeple Everydays. Nakamigos collectors have formed a tight-knit community regardless of prices or the perceptions and opinions of outsiders.
In conclusion, Nakamigos believe in NFTs for the right reasons:
Art
Innovation
Community
And Nakamigos are going to lead a new era of collecting and appreciating NFTs.
Because we are all Nakamigos.
