my works have also been scraped and put onto this website and its an understatement to say i am extremely upset and uncomfortable by this holy shit this is disgusting
oh also another thing this isn't about the downloading and uploading people's fics onto google drives because that's another discourse happening right now... my thread is only about how writers get treated poorly
okay so my only point really is talking from my perspective
seeing the hits/kudos ratio doesn't necessarily demotivate me- it more so makes me sad because while i don't write my works to get attention or praise, seeing kudos on my works really makes me happy and lets me know +
i feel like it's isolating enough as it is to keep writing when you already feel like people do not appreciate what you do, even more when any time you so much as comment on the way writers get treated people rush to disagree and call you entitled +
i don't really think i have a "right" to weigh in on the current ao3 writer discourse because my works aren't even that popular but i really want to say something i just need to word it
i said i was gonna come back to main but im too busy with the elections in serbia bare with me for another day then im coming back. i swear.
