We rewrote our data API in Rust 🦀, yielding 50% faster p50s and 90% faster p99s. It uses our in-house indexing tables - Polymarket UI now uses them throughout, which means trades, positions, and balances will load much faster. The API is open for anyone to consume on the /v2 route.

Many people are getting frustrated with the Polymarket $POLY delay.
But this reminds me of what happened with Hyperliquid.
After Season 1 ended, people expected the $HYPE airdrop. Instead, Hyperliquid announced Season 2.
I still remember people laughing and saying, "another milking project, peanuts coming" and all that.
Then Season 2 ended, the airdrop arrived, and the rest is history.
So I’m not really bothered by the delay. If you genuinely enjoy using Polymarket, just keep using it normally and organically.
Yeah, I understand the frustration though. They teased $POLY quite early, so people naturally expected it to arrive soon.
But if the infrastructure isn’t ready, there’s no point rushing it. A rushed launch could only lead to a weaker valuation.
So... let them cook properly. We’ll all eat together.
