crypto being an alternative financial system doesn’t mean we should analyse it like idiots.
decentralised finance deserves better than centralised stupidity.
i like crypto precisely because it isn’t TradFi.
that doesn’t mean i want lower standards of financial analysis.
!!!
i just made an imocrypto222 tiktok
going to try my best to make some helpful trading content and also some lifestyle stuff I wouldn’t post here cause my life is c*nt thanks to trading so
will drop some tea on trading skills and how to get rich in this space
peace pout check it out (search the name)
how it feels when you’re learning to trade crypto by yourself
opening tradingview for the first time
opening coinglass for the first time
opening arkham for the first time etc
you have to persevere or stay poor simple
lock in or you’ll lock your ambitions out
a lot of traders aren’t trapped by the market
they’re trapped by the box they’ve built around themselves
a strategy they learned three years ago, a bias they refuse to invalidate, a collection of indicators they were told they need, and a belief that price must behave a certain way because that’s how somebody taught them it behaves
the market changes, and instead of changing with it, they contort themselves to remain inside the framework
they add another indicator, draw another line, find another reason their original thesis is still right, when it’s clearly not
then they manipulation, blame market makers, blame the exchange
anything except questioning the box
this is one of the most dangerous things about becoming experienced at trading: eventually, your knowledge can stop being an advantage and become a constraint
you become so invested in what you already know that you stop observing what is actually happening
markets are adaptive systems (the crypto market since its inception makes this very, very clear)
participants change, positioning changes, liquidity changes, volatility changes, the variables driving price discovery change, macro changes, incentives change, geopolitical changes etc etc
your thinking has to remain equally adaptive
sometimes becoming a better trader isn’t about adding another concept to your existing framework
it’sabout having the intellectual flexibility to dismantle part of the framework entirely
Question the rules you’ve inherited
Question your own assumptions
Question why you’re looking at the variables you’re looking at
and when the evidence contradicts the model, change the model - don’t distort the evidence until it fits
the market is infinitely larger than the intellectual box you’ve constructed around it
you can spend your entire trading career becoming increasingly sophisticated at operating inside that box
Or you can get out
it’s time to think outside the box

today, I made a sub account on @BitunixOfficial and set myself this challenge:
i deposited 100 USDT
i’m going to share every trade here on X
follow the journey, and if you’re impressed, i can teach you how to do the same
let’s fucking go
im going to flip this account hard and i’m inviting an audience
hopefully this shows retail, it can be done, if you learn how to master crypto perps trading
most retail crypto traders are not losing because the market is unfair
they are losing because they are using the wrong framework for the asset class !!!
crypto perps are not stocks
they are not forex
they are a leveraged liquidation-driven derivatives market
and they need to be traded like one
you need to read
the data tells you what is happening right now
derivatives positioning
onchain flows
liquidation architecture
the move is already written
you just have to learn to read it
the edge in crypto perps is not a secret indicator
it is not a signal group
it is not someone else's calls
it is understanding the mechanics of the asset class you are trading
deeply enough that you stop being the liquidity
and start being the one collecting it
the moves we have seen this week on coins like $EVAA $Q $CAP $JCT $BLESS and in recent weeks $BTW $AKE etc can’t be traded using typical retail patterns that developed to trade different asset classes
for instance coin that pumped 1000% and retraced 70% is not necessarily dead, it's potentially the cleanest long setup in the market because everyone who got burned is now bearish and a short squeeze pending (if the read of the data suggests this) so,
just remember what asset class you’re trading, and if you learned how to trade forex, equities or indices before pivoting to crypto, you have to re-learn or you’ll just keep getting liquidated
crypto perps is a complex and multifaceted puzzle, and you have to start bare with all the parts, and put them together, until you can see the full picture
and then trade it
one week in imocrypto $AGT
called the reversal.
got positioned.
posted a video explaining exactly what I was seeing
updates given
+45%
+70%
eventually almost +200% from the level in the video
but the important part isn’t just the +200%
the #AGTUSDT analysis was posted before the move
scam coins = my crypto playground

$BLESS traders, I tried to warn you before this dump
this morning I posted in my TG:
“be careful with BLESS.”
an hour later the exact MM move I was worried about played out
this is why I’m constantly telling traders not to blindly chase pumps
one of the biggest mistakes traders make is chasing a pump while OI is extremely elevated and the market hasn’t had a meaningful liquidation event yet
price going up ≠ safe long
when price expands aggressively alongside a huge build-up in OI, you have more and more leveraged positioning entering the market
that positioning becomes liquidity
until some of that excess OI has been flushed out, I’m VERY cautious about becoming exit liquidity late into of an extended move
you cannot just looking at candles asking:
“is this going up?”
you have to ask:
who is positioned where?
where is the liquidity?
how much leverage has accumulated?
who can be trapped?
and what needs to be cleared before the next real move?
often you need the liquidation event first and drop in that open interest, before considering getting involved in a pump
don’t enter a long until a liquidity event to the downside
literally lock this in your brain i beg
#BLESSUSDT gave us a pretty good demonstration just now
receipts below
1 week in imocrypto: $Q, again
caught the pump long (see previous post)
then flipped short.
posted the short + first TP zone in the tg while Q was still above $0.20
the move I was waiting for was a liquidation cascade
it came
#QUSDT dropped ~70%
same asset , opposite direction
trade the conditions, not your bias
receipts below
1 week in imocrypto: $Q
had Q on watch before the move
saw the onchain context + heavy short liquidation levels above price
but no entry, I told the group not to rush it
waited for the inducement and dump so OI would get flushed
then I longed
#QUSDT moved over 300% from the entry
patience → confirmation → execution.
receipts below
one week in imocrypto: ethereum:0xc477b6dfd26ec2460b3b92de18837fd476ea7549
this is one of my favourite calls from the week
sent this video in my tg ahead of the move, explaining exactly what I was seeing in JCT and the level I expected price to move towards
the thesis was simple: the dump was fake, trapping more shorts, and I expected price to move up into the short liquidation levels above
then it played out exactly as I described
go on, check the chart now and see what happened
#JCTUSDT went straight up to the level I had identified in the video before the move happened
+70%
+85%
eventually +122% from my entry
not just calling the direction
calling the destination - before price got there
receipts below
1 week in imocrypto: $Q
had Q on watch before the move
saw the onchain context + heavy short liquidation levels above price
but no entry, I told the group not to rush it
waited for the inducement and dump so OI would get flushed
then I longed
#QUSDT moved over 300% from the entry

So, I longed $Q AFTER the dump because open interest dropped massively
which is obviously going to happen when loads of retail chase those ridiculous green candles
I’ve said it over and over again since the start of my trading group: you never chase a pump with fomo, wait for a big drop in open interest
then if you see the confirmations on lower timeframes for another pump, then you strike
learn more about these confirmations in my tg
pov you’re in the shame corner because you just did the exact thing you promised yourself you would never do again
overleveraged
chased an entry you missed entry
moved your stop on a losing trade
revenge traded the loss
ignored your own invalidation
watched a winning trade turn red because you couldn’t take profit
it’s funny until you realise how many traders are carrying an enormous amount of shame from previous versions of themselves
and I don’t think we talk about this enough
there is an important difference between guilt and shame
guilt says
i made a bad decision
shame says
i am a bad trader
one gives you information
the other becomes an identity
and once shame becomes part of your identity as a trader, it starts contaminating the decisions that come afterwards
you hesitate on good setups because you no longer trust yourself
you take profit too early because you’re terrified of watching another winner disappear
you revenge trade because you desperately want to erase the previous loss
you hide from your journal because looking at the evidence feels uncomfortable.
you compare yourself to traders online and wonder why everyone else seems to have figured out something you haven’t
eventually you’re no longer trading the market in front of you
you’re trading against the memory of everything you’ve done wrong
that’s how the cycle sustains itself.
mistake → shame → loss of self-trust → emotionally distorted decision-making → another mistake → more shame
and the trader retreats further into the corner
at some point, you have to separate accountability from self-punishment
you absolutely should examine your mistakes
study them
journal them
understand exactly what happened and build systems that make them less likely to happen again
but you do not need to keep psychologically punishing yourself for a trade you took six months ago
the trader who made those mistakes was operating with the knowledge, emotional regulation and experience you had then
your responsibility is not to hate that version of yourself.
your responsibility is to outgrow them
because if every new trading decision is still being filtered through shame about your old ones, you never actually give the new version of yourself room to develop
you cannot build self-trust while constantly presenting yourself with evidence that you are fundamentally untrustworthy
you cannot become disciplined while privately maintaining an identity built around all the times you weren’t
and you cannot invite meaningful development into your trading while remaining emotionally attached to proving that your past mistakes define you
you are not your worst trade
you’re not alone
and it doesn’t mean you won’t make it
but eventually, you have to pull yourself out of the corner
address the shame you’re carrying from the trader you used to be
learn what that version of you needed to teach you
then let them go

About $1.85M of AIN shorts have been liquidated in the last 24 hours.
By exchange: Binance accounts for about $1.75M of it. Bybit, BingX and Bitunix show nothing recorded, and Gate, MEXC and KuCoin returned no data.
So, the real figure is likely higher !!!
Binance's public liquidation feed only reports a sample (at most one order per symbol per second), and several venues don't report at all. Treat $1.85M as a floor.
For scale, that's small against about $44M of Binance OI and 541M coins of OI overall. With retail still 77% short, most of the shorts that opened into the pump haven't been forced out yet.
More short squeeze to come.
if you see someone on x claiming to be ‘the market maker’ and you’ve believed them, they’re talking shit
read this now
THE MARKET MAKER IS NOT A MAN BEHIND A SCREEN
Liquidity, leverage, positioning and the machinery beneath crypto price formation
Spend enough time in crypto and eventually you encounter the mythology of “the market maker”.
But, crypto markets are considerably more complex than a a reductive concept of marker-making would assume.
Indeed, liquidity providers exert meaningful influence over short-term price formation. Large participants strategically manage execution. Liquidity is not distributed randomly. Manipulation exists. Spoofing exists. Wash trading exists. Liquidation cascades exist. Information asymmetry exists.
But reducing all of this to an omnipotent entity called “the market maker” is analytically conceptually useless.
And understanding that complexity changed the way I trade:
be vigilant
lots of scam coin action atm but with big trading opportunities,
comes traps just as big
retail traders, listen up:
YOU MUST REMIND YOURSELF BEFORE TAKING A TRADE…
what is inducing me [retail traders] to take this position
who would benefit from enticing me [retail traders] to take this position (market makers etc)
and
why might they want me [retail traders] to open this position
the so-called ‘invisible hand’ of the market, is often not-so -invisible in crypto trading, and *it* may well be manipulating you to do exactly what they need to provide their liquidity
is $BTW ready for more scam?
last time was a pleasure to trade, to say the least
been telling people to long $BTW for many weeks.
millions in retail shorts have now been liquidated across a multi-cycle squeeze.
and somehow they just kept coming back to short it again.
$AKE happened shortly before. retail learnt absolutely nothing.
“it’s already pumped too much” is not a short thesis.
eventually you’ll be right, but wont still be solvent when the *actual* short arrives.
your liquidation levels will have been harvested by the time it’s truly dump-ready.
but by a look at liquidation numbers, they already have been.
if this is you, the market makers are collecting your cash, and you have made it easy for them

i know this will piss some people off:
but if your entire ‘product’ is keeping inexperienced traders dependent on your next signal, you’re not selling financial freedom
you’re selling dependency
you’ve probably built an artificially inflated huge social following, post obscene (and fake) PNL screenshots, telling everyone you know the “NEXT 100X”
just to *manufacture* enough social proof that follower count becomes a substitute for credibility, and foster a false sense of trustworthiness, and power dynamic,
trying to build the facade that you’re some kind of ‘messiah of trading’
i get that business is business and profit is profit, but i would personally rather not larp and trick often-vulnerable people to extract their money, just to provide shit signals
and not give a fuck about them as people who have a dream, just to line my own pockets
absolute loser behaviour
please retail traders, especially new traders, do your due diligence, and don’t blindly trust someone because of their follow count, many followers does not equal good trader, and it certainly does not mean good person behind said account
don’t feed take their bait
