We’ve seen mayors walk right up to the line. This isn’t even close: It’s way over.
What’s more frustrating is hearing COIB is privately telling people this isn’t a big deal. It absolutely is.
What’s the point of ethics rules if nobody enforces them? We need accountability.

The city is not supposed to spend funds on electoral campaigns so this is "get out the vote" campaign that is HEAVILY implying you should vote a certain way without saying it.
We saw the same thing with the City Council last year, and the year before.
On November 3rd, you can Vote on Faster Government.
Visit vote.nyc to find where to vote and what's on your ballot.
Frankly, this would be pretty cool and @NICKIMINAJ would be the second Press secretary from Southeast Queens to serve in the White House.
The first? @K_JeanPierre from Bellerose who worked for Joe Biden
Why is tiktok allowing homicides to be filmed
NEW: Man in Cleveland killed two men and then posted a video following the shooting.
The 25-year-old suspect was arrested within hours of the killings. His name has not yet been released.
The victims were identified as Christopher Williams, 34, and Demetrius W. Pride, 28, both Cleveland residents.
Authorities have not yet disclosed a possible motive.

Replying to @JCAndersonNYC
Saw this in front of city Hall and the deliverista hub that's being used by the non profit Workers justice project as a free rent office
I knew what to do
Streets for people.
Imagine if people voted for props one and three so @NYC_DOT can make all the open streets they want wherever they want
This will be more widespread

Live at @Openplans presentation for LTNs and other anti-car policy street plans at a speakeasy bar in Ridgewood
I tell Emily Chonghay who presented these street redesigns that @NYC_DOT was already doing LTNs and traffic congestion was the result in addition to bike lanes that were already implemented. This truth put this small urbanist audience in total silence.
Then @Transalt member/lobbyist John Maier calls me a troll 3 times. I told this chump who is always invading other community boards to push transalt's agenda. The spineless coward wouldn't turn around and say it to my face.
Also there was @Lashepard221 who happens to be a city worker for @QnsBPRichards office as a "liason" for transportation and I wonder if she was there on personal or government time. Because what Emily was showing on these slides is what street redesigns the DOT will prioritize if they get the votes for @NYCMayor bill proposals on the ballot this election day that they will make without community input.
Rae Mobley of @RidgewoodRides reveals their connections and agenda to "reimagine" Ridgewood, namely @openplans @Transalt and she talks about their weekly little critical mass rides and how they plan to harness the "energy" of @nycmayor's administration to take over the streets of their town and other towns nearby where they ride for @nyc_dot "safety improvement" projects to induce bike lanes and @citibikenyc racks in towns where nobody asked for them (like Cypress Hills and Maspeth)
This sounds like colonization and gentrification explorations on two wheels.
And did she say "beer rides" or peer rides? Because these so called bike activist groups do beer run theme rides.
This guy Brandon is a resident of Ridgewood and he wants @NYC_DOT to convert the two way Grand st into a one way street even though it's a very busy traffic corridor.
He also wants the DOT to put planters and art on the streets to prevent traffic from "cutting through" the area thinking it will deter reckless driving and boost businesses.
The reckless drivers is a valid concern but that can be fixed with traffic cops at the busiest corridors. But the point here is to abolish cars outright. Even the cars that are driven by their neighbors

A traffic accident involving an SUV and a Schwinn bicycle occurred at the intersection of 131 st and 109th ave last night.
The windshield of the SUV was smashed and the bike's fork was split in two and the back wheel was bent. There was no sign of the cyclist anywhere and no blood on the road.
It looks like the cyclist was riding opposite traffic or blew the stop sign. It also looks like the SUV driver may have been speeding
A very strange crash scene. I wonder how the NYPD reported this and if an ambulance actually came to pick up the cyclist, because nobody can survive a wreck like this with a bike looking this mangled.

30 minutes later...
The cops are gone. The SUV with the smashed windshield and dent on the left side is gone. But the mangled schwinn bike with the broken fork is still here
Why would the cops leave it behind when it was involved in a crash scene. Since there was no yellow tape, I think the cyclist survived. But it seems this won't be filed on NYPD or @NYC_DOT records as a crash.
Where's Columbo or Monk when you need them? Or even Scooby Doo and the gang?

“Trans inclusive” but age discriminatory, overpriced, in a shitty section of Maspeth, a 20 minute walk to the subway, with the landlord living in the basement. This is who is replacing families with kids and voting for socialists.
Looks like some lowlife smoked Angel dust and stole a car
A car drove through the fencing and onto the pedestrian plaza of the West 72nd Street and Broadway train station around 3:15 a.m. this morning.
The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.

This is also happening again on 117th st on 109th ave
Two sinkholes have materialized out of nowhere and @NYC_DOT covered them up with asphalt quilts and the weight from the blacktop is causing them to collapse again
@NYCMayor Mamdani @Transalt and @nycDSA really expects voters to give the DOT more control over our streets and not have a say over how they are maintained and this is how they currently maintain them while making more bike lanes and redesigning to make driving cars more difficult
Vote no on all 5 props this election day
