Mahomes has several glaring weaknesses: 1. Creates his own pressure with unnecessary movement 2. Inconsistent intermediate/deep accuracy 3. Erratic ball placement 4. Undisciplined footwork and mechanics 5. Abandons clean pockets and structure 6. Relies on improvisation over timing and anticipation 7. Holds the ball hunting for big plays 8. Forces throws instead of taking what’s available 9. His physical gifts often mask poor fundamentals He’s an all-time great improviser, but that doesn’t make him a flawless quarterback.
