On 11 July at 7:24 PM, I was assaulted by two men at the Caltex petrol station in Sri Damansara.
I sustained a fractured eye socket and multiple injuries to my body. A police report has been lodged, and the case is currently under investigation.
I’m sharing this to inform those who know me and to remind everyone to stay aware of your surroundings and stay safe.

Hakim dah putuskan, kita tak boleh nak argue.
Tiga mati akibat kemalangan ni, remaja berusia 15, 16 dan 17 tahun.
Budak yang bawak Jazz tu, bawah umur. Maknanya, tak ada lesen. Ibunya didakwa benarkan anak dia drive.
Perempuan tu ada 6 orang anak dia nak tanggung. Single mother.

Claiming that "this waterway is a global public good" requires facing two questions:
First, where was the EU when this "global public good" was available to everyone except Iran—a coastal country on the Strait of Hormuz? For years, Iran’s oil and trade were disrupted by the Americans through their unilateral and illegal maximum sanctions. Yet, Iran exercised self-restraint for decades; the EU noticed this but did not bother to reiterate that the Strait of Hormuz is a "global public good."
Second, the flow is constrained by the aggression of the American and Israeli regimes, why then tout the EU’s Aspides naval mission instead of stopping the aggression itself?
Thank you @YvetteCooperMP for convening a call of over 40 countries on the Strait of Hormuz.
This waterway is a global public good. Iran cannot be allowed to charge countries a bounty to let ships pass. International law doesn’t recognise pay-to-pass schemes.
Today, we looked at diplomatic, economic, and security measures to restore safe passage, alongside working with the shipping industry.
The EU’s Aspides naval mission has already assisted 1,700 ships in the Red Sea and must be scaled up. We cannot afford to lose another critical trade route.
We support work by the UN on humanitarian corridors in the Strait to get food and fertilisers out. The EU has tools to track and facilitate transit that could help with that.

58,000 Americans died in Vietnam.
Over 3,000,000 Vietnamese died.
And for fifty years, American culture has centered the grief of the 58,000 while treating the 3,000,000 as a backdrop.
As scenery. As context. As "the Vietnam War experience."
They built a wall in Washington with American names on it.
A beautiful wall. A solemn wall.
Good. Mourn your dead.
But understand what that wall does not say.
It does not say why they died.
It does not say what they were doing there.
It does not say what was done in their name to the people whose country it actually was.
It does not mention My Lai, where American soldiers massacred an entire village, old men, women, children, babies, and the officer who ordered it served three years of house arrest before being pardoned.
Three years. House arrest. Pardoned.
For five hundred people murdered in a ditch.
It does not mention the 2.7 million acres of Vietnamese forest doused in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon disguised as herbicide, that is still deforming Vietnamese children today.
Not in 1970. Not in 1985. Today.
Children born in 2020 with bodies twisted by a war their grandparents fought.
And the chemical companies that made it are still in business.
Still profitable.
Still un-prosecuted.
And yet they send us human rights reports.
They grade our democracy.
They warn us about our behavior.
The audacity is so enormous it becomes almost impressive.
Almost.

BREAKING: IRANIAN EMBASSY LEAK PHOTOS OF 2 COMMANDERS WHO ORDERED THE ATTACK ON THE 170 SCHOOL GIRLS
“Remember these two criminals. Leigh R. Tate, the commander, and Jeffrey E. York, the executive officer of the USS Spruance, who ordered the launch of Tomahawk missiles three times, killing 168 innocent children at a school in Minab.
Don’t they have children of their own?”

Parents of the 168 schoolchildren killed in Minab are struggling to process the scale of the loss, returning each night to keep vigil at their children’s graves.
Drop Site correspondent Mahmoud Aslan reported that families arrive carrying rugs and cushions, food, water, and candles, placing them beside the small, freshly dug graves. They clean the tombstones, tend the surrounding earth, and settle in for the night—keeping a quiet vigil until dawn.
