I am thrilled to introduce to you an outreach program done last week about Value Addition to Seaweed for livelihood betterment to the coastal community. It involved 40 participants 20 women seaweed farmers and 20 females from second and third year undergraduate students.
The outreach program comprised soap, petroleum jelly and Hair oil making on spot practically. After we shared and distributed the products among us.

Installation of fish vessels tracking system, temperature and depth sensor at Kizimkazi landing site. The activity was implemented by teams of experts from ZAFIRI, @imsudsm @wiomsa, to ensure continuous data collection using fishers vessels #CitizenScience @smarter_earth
