Replying to @pharoxken
My brother, I am coming to the show at Nile Theater a week from today. I saw you are playing Legion Post 8 on Friday, I wish I could be there to represent as hard as you did for us.

I love you, bro. I can’t thank you enough for traveling all the way from Dallas to hangout with us. It was such an honor to scream with you. I’ll see you at a @UNITYTX show in the future.
Huge thanks to our pals in Paris Green, Day Two, NVM, Echoes of Amara, and O’South for sharing stages with us. Nothing cooler than playing shows with people you love and respect. Thank you to all the people behind the scenes making these shows happen.
More news tomorrow.
GRATITUDE.
What a ripper of a weekend! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming out and participating in these shows.
We are humbled & appreciative for all the love and energy y’all gave.
A special thank you to those of you that traveled cross country to participate
This pic is a page from the notebook I carried with me from the first In:Aviate band meeting through the end of my tenure with the band. It reads like a scrapbook or diary of the band throughout our lifespan. This is the original conceptual road map for 1985.

Shows started today and we couldn’t be more pumped to be able to play these songs again for you. Hopefully y’all have enjoyed the walk down In:Aviate memory lane. It’s kicked up some cool stories and memories that we forgot ourselves.

“If by chance you get the chance to do what you love, I suggest that you do.”
This is the last track on the record and therefore the last track by track social media post.
Can’t wait to rip this one open with you all next week! I hope you’ll all be hollering your guts out like we will be!

The throne of King @kcrummett at the original Interlace Audio where we tracked 1985.
I distinctly remember Kris Crummett (who produced and engineered the record, as well as mixed and mastered, a genius in his own rite) looking back at me while Dan was tracking this one and saying ‘Dan is maybe the best drummer I’ve ever tracked.’ High high praise for our guy Dan.
While Dan’s drumming is the most under appreciated thing across the whole record I can’t say enough about his performance on this track. It’s his Magnum Opus of this record.
This really resonated with me and the rest of the dudes and kind of became our internal mantra for how we approached our writing, performing, and life in the industry.
He said that you have to believe in what you are doing so fully that, like a Tibetan monk; to get your point across you have to be willing to set yourself on fire.
Lyrically the concepts of the track are based on a conversation I had with the legendary Ross Robinson regarding the state of the music industry and my personal frustrations with it and his words stuck with me.
Drawing influence from some of our heavier personal tastes this is the only song on the record in a modified lower tuning.
