this but unironically
a supply chain logistics project with very large database i worked on went through this โ within a span of 5 years
The 10-year database architecture cycle:
2015: SQL is obsolete. Schemas are too rigid. Put everything in NoSQL JSON documents.
2018: Wait, we need to join users and orders. Let's write a 400-line nested loop in JavaScript to join them in RAM.
2021: Wait, if the server crashes halfway through the loop, we lose money. We need ACID transactions.
2026: Quietly puts everything back in PostgreSQL and never speaks of it again.
from a global allocation perspective let's seem them put all their money to public good instead of hoarding it first
billionaires have way too much money, way more than they could ever need
cache as cachรฉ
although they have vaguely similar meaning but the latter is the french pronunciation; in english it's just pronounced as "cash"

govtโs spending a ton of public money on social media monitoring. keyword tools, ai flags, hundreds of police cells to monitor social media... just to identify content and issue bulk takedown requests on sahyog portal
meta auto-blocks everything to save itself from liability - but it still needs the government to submit a request for every single post
bulk of the takedown requests being made, most would fall apart when challenged legally
and the burdenโs on you to fight to get your content back up
same playbook as SIR: automate and delete in bulk with no due diligence, make restoration tedious and a pain in the ass
whatโs the actual scope and is there even a decision making to identify what gets taken down, who has access, and how much is this costing the country?
feels like a massive waste of public money just to stifle their own voice. has anyone filed an RTI yet?
Replying to @nitishrajput
Bhai, itโs an automated system that Modi Govt is using to mass block lakhs of posts
Can you share these videos and their titles / tags so people can find ways to bypass this illegal censorship?

RG should compare Modi's architectural marvels to the interior of Haldiram's restaurants and maybe Modi will ask Sitarama or Vaishnaw to do a PC from Haldiram's.
Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

Instagram blocks another video of LiveLaw which explains the pending legal challenges against the SIR. (instagram.com/reels/DfFA7K_hโฆ)
Two days back, Instagram had blocked a reel on the ECI's affidavit in the Supreme Court in the SIR case, before restoring it after a few hours.
The reason given for restricting the latest video is "We received a legal request to restrict this content".
The same video is available on YouTube : youtube.com/watch?v=-UN-u4nyโฆ
im in awe how effective it is, even though everything in it already much talked about in public domain
everybody has heard of adani-ambani jibes and that modi is selling the nation... but a lot of people just don't realise how scale and size of the rot that's there, that it's not jibes or satire
showed it to some "apolitical" folks and it hit them like whiplash

Rahul Gandhi seems to have realised that Vote Chori, SIR and the upcoming delimitation exercise has weakened people's ability to bring this government down through elections.
He is now looking beyond voters to bureaucrats and businessmen who already wield enormous influence over this country.
The third wall has been broken when Rahul Gandhi mentioned the Tatas and the back and forth of Nirmala Sitharaman and him has shifted the conversation from seeking people's mandate to seeking the approval of those who already hold power.
My concern is that we are preparing to change the rulers without changing the power structures.
Sections of the elites and the ultra rich are comfortable with BJP as long as their interests are protected. Common people are hoping Congress is the solution for the hate that has brewed in the last 13 years. That's wishful thinking at best if the underlying structures remain untouched.
Are we changing who holds power or merely changing who gets to benefit from it?
Dark days lie ahead if the alternative to this government is only a change of rulers and not a change in how people are exploited and power dynamics are being weaponised.
Day by day, I realise, breaking the wheel has so much meaning, depth and structural layers to it.
