Kilton United FC

Safely through to the next round of the Sheffield cup against tricky opponents, Whippets were physical and fit but the lads turned in a solid performance. Credit to a great set of opponents, top lads. Can we get 18 lads down next week ? Up the Kilton ⚫️⚪️

1st game back for the Kilton boys yesterday, we expected a tough game and that’s what we got. Lads worked really hard and at times were defending for their lives but our effort kept us in the game and could have easily grabbed a point towards the end. Credit to little Mester 🫡

Punished for not taking out chances in the 1st half, good team and credit to handsworth for picking us off !! We learn and go again ⚫️⚪️👍🏼

1st run out for the boys this morning, dusting cob webs off !!! A few new faces, fitting in sound, annual tour next week 🍻🤙🏻⚽️⚫️⚪️

That’s a wrap, we finished off with a solid performance in what’s been an up and down season. Promotion is out of our hands now but if we do get it, then credit to these lads, struggling for numbers all season and on the verge of back to back promotions ⚫️⚪️⚽️ @Rdslfootball

After a sloppy 1st half it looked like a rough day, but the lads showed upin the 2nd half and pinned back a very good physical side. 5 more minutes we win the game, 1 game left to play, lads have shown patches of real brilliance this season, ready for next @Rdslfootball ⚫️⚪️👍🏼

Good performance from the lads, lacklustre 2nd half but held on and delivered the 3 points !! 1st half domination won us this against a stubborn side.

Better from the lads this weekend, showing we can compete when we get the numbers. Big, powerful side Hogshead but we defended well and took our chances, missing several more along the way. Still, much better as we keep pushing in our highest division to date in @Rdslfootball

Another 5 minutes and we take all 3 points in this game, strong finish, massive credit to the 11 players who made this one 🙌🏼⚫️⚪️⚽️ @Rdslfootball div 2 !!!

Turned up with 10 men against best team in Rotherham 😬😬 Thanks though to Gate Inn, very good set of lads and extremely complimentary of our efforts. @Rdslfootball ⚫️⚪️

Disciplined performance against a very physical team today. We kept our heads and let our quality shine through !!! Result is what it is though, main thing is a speedy recovery to one of our top guys who suffered a broken fib - rest up mate 🖤🤍 @Rdslfootball

14 goals in 2 games for the mighty Kilton boys in @Rdslfootball, we come straight out the blocks and was brilliant 1st half. 7-1 up gaffer rung the changes and it killed our momentum but gave everyone the chance to get some well earned minutes in the legs. Let’s keep pushing !

So after no football for a couple of weeks, the lads come back and got the job done at home to Brinsworth. By no means our best performance we’ve had this season, missed numerous chances, sloppy at times but nevertheless 3 points and +5gd. We keep pushing ⚫️⚪️ @Rdslfootball

Gutted with this, 2-0 up inside 20 minutes and then we went on to gift them 4 goals meaning we had to chase the game !! Down to 10 men with 18 to go and still we felt the better team. 5 more minutes we take a point, better game management we take all 3. Dust off, go again.

Kilton progress in the Brian Beeley cup with a relentless showing against @Rdslfootball div1 side @AfcRothSpartans 1st half we had a comfortable lead, only to be pinned back in the 2nd by a good side, backed by 100mph winds 😬 Lads showed character though and earned the win ⚫️⚪️

Much better today, could’ve nicked it, maybe should have !!! Lots of positives to take in to our next game though, tough team Park Hotel but our improvement is evident ⚫️⚪️ Mom Josh Stansbury Thank you to our sponsors Jhinook Indian Cuisine & GiffordHardwick Plumbing.

Fuming with this one, game not confirmed till Friday, lads already committing to work, we turn up with 11, get an injury inside 15 minutes, so have to put someone else on who’s just watching through injury and end up running out of steam with 10 men, after being 1-0 up at HT.

Really poor start for us, never got going at all. Credit to langold they were straight out the blocks and left us chasing the game !! Next week has to be better ⚫️⚪️

Pre season ends for the Kilton lads, another dominant display against a very big and physical side. Losing our 1st game we went on to win 5 on the bounce. Gaffers now given the lads a couple of weeks off in preparation for life in @Rdslfootball division 2. Up the Kilton ⚫️⚪️
