hey @maria_aigarth
The Death of the "Greater Fool"
In most altcoins, your exit liquidity is a dumber retail buyer. You buy hoping a normie buys higher. When the inflow stops, the token dies. That's the 2021 graveyard.
Qubic is designed to point demand somewhere else: at machines that consume the token to compute, not to flip.
The intended buyer is a developer paying for smart contract execution, or an AI network buying compute. Those fees get burned, not held.
You Hold the Fuel
Machines that burn Qubic need someone to hold it. When the network gets busy, fuel demand rises and burns accelerate. You're not waiting for a greater fool. You're waiting for a paying customer.
How You Get Paid
1. Holding: as supply burns, your Qubic is a larger share of a shrinking pie.
2. Working: mining or running a Computor earns epoch rewards for securing the network.
What's real, and what isn't yet
Real: roughly 77.5% of weekly emission is burned, on-chain since Epoch 227.
Not yet: that burn comes mostly from emission mechanics, not machine demand at scale. Scale is what we're waiting on.
Why Patience
A machine economy takes time: models written, contracts deployed, Aigarth becoming useful. If it gets built, the buyer is the global AI compute budget, not a retail sucker. If it doesn't, the thesis fails. I'm holding for the first outcome.
Keep your keys safe.

Jay-Z and Roc Nation are reportedly sending 3-year-old soccer star, Nevada Pierre, to Spain this December for a special soccer experience after police were called to a youth game in Florida after a dispute involving his family.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The report that Jay-Z and Roc Nation are sending 3-year-old Nevada Pierre to Spain originates from an unverified claim citing anonymous sources with no official confirmation from Roc Nation.

$INDEX pulled off the cleanest rug I've seen and no audit would have caught it.
No honeypot. No sell tax. No contract exploit. LP locked, launch clean, the token contract itself passed every check.
What they @TheIndexFi did instead: on October 21st, someone simply emptied the payout bot.
- 4.2M $INDEX ($22K)
- 38 stock tokens — NVDA, AAPL, MSFT and more ($7K)
- 3.14 ETH (~$7K)
All of it moved to a fresh wallet that has made zero transactions since. Team silent. And here's the part that should bother you: the chart still prints green candles. $5.3M market cap, buyers leading on DexScreener, looking perfectly healthy a week after the engine got stolen.
The lesson everyone misses:
The failure mode wasn't the contract. It was the operational wallets; the fee vault, the buyback bot, the payout wallet. The entire "reward mechanism" lived in a wallet the operator could drain in one transaction. Clean contract, locked LP, audited code and an exit door with a bow on it.
This is why the check that matters isn't the chart or even the audit. It's the balance history of the mechanism wallets:
- Buyback wallet growing = the token is alive
- Fee vault swept = the token is dead, regardless of what the price says
The counter-example worth studying is $ONAGI by @tryonagi: every operational address published and verifiable; treasury, cold treasury, fee vault with a daily draw limit, buyback wallet, burn. The treasury vesting is enforced by the contract, not by a promise. Nobody can do to $ONAGI what was done to INDEX, because the mechanism isn't held in someone's pocket.
A reward mechanism is only as strong as its withdrawal constraints.
Contract-enforced limits > operator promises. If the wallet holding your token's entire value engine has unrestricted operator access, you don't hold a stake in a protocol. You hold a countdown.
Verify the wallets, not just the code. 🕵️
$INDEX team emptied their own wallet. Rug?
The payout bot got emptied on Oct 21:
> 4.2M INDEX (~$23K)
> 18 stock tokens (NVDA, AAPL, MSFT and others)
> 3.14 ETH (~$7K)
All went to a fresh wallet. No txs since
Right now:
> @TheIndexFi silent since 8 Oct
> No payouts for 9 days
> Distributor still holding $10K in stocks
Idk why the INDEX team is silent after 9 days of no payouts
Could be a wallet rotation. Could be the end
Got an unexpected 100K $ONAGI in my wallet from @tryonagi today.
Checked it myself before believing it: they bought 5.1M on the open market with the dev wallet; no mint, no new supply they and split it across the 51 earliest agent users. Receipts on-chain.
Is it a moon ticket? No. At current cap it's coffee money, and the chart's still ugly. I won't pretend otherwise.
But in a sea of micro-caps where teams dump on holders, one that buys back from the market to reward actual product users is a different species. That's the behavior you want to see at the bottom.
Still watching the concentration numbers.
Behavior > promises. 🧪

We've been a little quiet since yesterday. Today we're back with a lot of exciting news.
First up: the family surprise has landed. 🎁
We bought 5.1M ONAGI on the open market with the dev wallet and sent 100,000 ONAGI to each of the 51 people who replied "family" to the agent's first community message.
You were among the very first to use the Onagi agent. Hold it for the long run. We're curious what this gift will be worth one day.
It's already in your Onagi wallet. Receipts below 👇

Still at Day 4! Bag $ONAGI now.

One of the biggest edges in crypto has always been understanding a narrative before the majority even knows what the fk is going on.
Remember early DeFi? Most people had no clue what yield farming, liquidity pools or AMMs were.
Early NFTs? People laughed at the idea of paying thousands for JPEGs.
Early sniping bots? While everyone was manually buying tokens, a handful of people were already making fortunes through automation.
Now we're seeing TapeOut, virtual transistors, circuit building, Proof of Design and all this complicated shit.
Yesterday I was invited to a Space where people were discussing it, and I barely understood what the fk they were talking about.
But that's exactly what caught my attention.
Crypto has a strange pattern. First comes confusion. Then curiosity. Then education. Then speculation. And finally, mass adoption of the narrative, often accompanied by ridiculous valuations.
The biggest opportunities often appear when something is too complicated for the average person to understand but interesting enough for them to eventually chase.
Does that mean TapeOut will succeed? Absolutely not. It could be revolutionary, or it could be another beautifully packaged extraction mechanism.
But I've learned one thing after years in this market that
You don't get paid for understanding what everyone already understands. You get paid for recognizing what they might want to understand next.
The real alpha isn't buying something because it's complicated.
It's figuring out whether that complexity is hiding an opportunity or hiding a scam.
And figuring it out before the crowd does.
I too lost money due to a defi @handle_fi contract exploit which had unlimited spend approvals and nothing can be done about it.
My pray goes to you.
I realized today I was drained for $9K
Last time I withdrew 7486 USDT from MEXC to MetaMask and it was sent to Aster Treasury after 13 seconds. The remaining 1607 USDC was sent to 0x8650F8B66764b0f1D0feF6075BC7097214895CEd

Game theory teaches that if you have an edge over other players, you must shut up about it. Don't announce you have the winning hand unless that's the way you win. Ed Thorp would only bet when math was on his side: he invented card counting in blackjack and his hedge fund had 20% returns over 20yrs with only 3 months down. (He invented a formula for option pricing that he never publicized; when others did, they got a Nobel prize).
Buffett thought the same way; when he felt out of touch with the game, he closed his partnership in 1969. These Masters go around teaching how they did it, but they know no one can compete with them. Game selection is as important as skill, and it can't be taught in a one-hour speech. "If 30 mins into a poker game you don't know who the patsy is, you are the patsy"
