I always buy into strength and sell into weakness.
I like listening to the market and following its momentum. I know I’m not smarter than the market so don’t try to predict it in the short-term.
Price action was getting really bad on tech names I had. $SMH down -10% and $IGV down -5% this week alone.
If you’ve been following me for the past few weeks, I’ve constantly being saying to be patient in this market and size only small. We need yields to materially come down first!!
That is exactly why I had raised over 50% cash in my portfolio! Yes, I’ve always been red these past few days but not as much due to proper risk management.
$AMZN has Q3 earnings on Thursday after the close.
-13% from its highs going in.
In Q2 they reported:
• Revenue $200.6B (+20% YoY)
• AWS +37%, fastest in 18 quarters
• Ads +26%
And AWS is SOLD OUT for 2026.
The catch? ~$220B of capex this year.
Can AWS keep growing 30%+ with no spare capacity?
ANTHROPIC HAS OFFICIALLY FILED FOR ITS IPO!
AI IS NOT SLOWING DOWN ANYTIME SOON!

Unpopular opinion: if you're in your 20s with a small account, you should NOT be 100% invested in high beta AI stocks right now.
Not because they're bad companies. Because one more week like last week and you're starting from zero.
What % cash are you sitting in right now?
$GOOGL reports Q3 earnings on Wednesday, Oct. 28th after the close.
The key focus for me will be Google Cloud.
In Q2 they reported:
• Revenue $119.8B (+24% YoY)
• Google Cloud $24.8B (+82%)
• Cloud backlog ~$514B
• Search $63.3B (+17%)
The catch: 2026 capex guide is $195B to $205B, and free cash flow was negative last quarter.
The stock is 20% off its high going in. Options are pricing a ~6% move.
Is this the best setup of Big Tech earnings week?
Would you rather:
A) A guaranteed 10% a year for the next 10 years
B) Hold $NVDA for the next 10 years, no selling allowed

WOAHH!! YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY! ALREADY AT 700 FOLLOWERS NOW!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT. I LOVE RESEARCHING STOCKS, AND THE FACT THAT I CAN NOW SHARE THIS WITH A COMMUNITY MEANS SO MUCH TO ME! PS. MY NEW ARTICLE IS RELEASING SOON!
My community keeps on growing. Last week, when I did this for the first time, I had 250 followers. Now I have 600! This drives me even harder to pump out new and unique content.
I'm so glad I'm able to share my passion for the markets with like-minded people. Also glad to see so many new faces compared to last week.
Let's keep growing and meeting new people!
Shoutout to my top 15 for always showing me support, whether that's through likes, replies, or answering my DMs.

Genuine question…
Is "buy the dip" a strategy, or just a coping mechanism for people who didn't sell the top?
This definitely makes things interesting…
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
5 rules that would've saved most of FinTwit this month:
1. Buy strength, sell weakness
2. Never let a swing trade turn into a "long term hold"
3. Cash is a position
4. Size for the gap, not the dream
5. If the leaders are breaking, you don't buy
Save this for the next selloff.
