As a single woman who's dating in 2024, it's so important to remind yourself that you deserve to be someone's first choice. You're not a backup plan. You're worthy of undivided attention, consistent effort, and chivalrous actions. Always remember your worth!
Dear Future Husband,ā¤ļø
Itās a new month, and wherever you are, I pray November brings you closer to God, closer to healing, and closer to the man He is calling you to be. I pray God is preparing your heart for me just as He is preparing mine for you.
I donāt know when our paths will cross, but I pray we never meet before weāre ready. May God remove every distraction, close every wrong door, and protect us from connections that could delay what He has for us.
And if weāre closer to meeting than I realize, Lord, prepare me to recognize what Iāve been praying for. Iām not asking for perfect loveāIām asking for God-ordained, healthy, safe, intentional love.
Until then, Iāll keep trusting God with our story.šš½
NOVEMBER AFFIRMATIONS š¤š
I am not behind.
I will not rush love.
I am worthy of healthy love.
I will not settle out of loneliness.
I trust God with my timeline.
I choose peace over potential.
I will not chase what is unsure about me.
I am allowed to have standards.
I deserve consistency.
I deserve reciprocity.
I will listen to my discernment.
I will enjoy my life NOW.
I am whole while I wait.
I will not compare my journey.
I am preparing, not just waiting.
I trust what God removes.
I am becoming a better me.
I will protect the peace I prayed for.
I still believe in LOVE. ā¤ļø
I believe my wait will be worth it.
I am entering November with FAITH. šš½
I want my person to truly SEE me. ā¤ļø Not just my outer beauty, but the beauty of my heart. I want him to see my character, my faith, my softness, my strength, and most importantly, my love for God.
I donāt want him to be so captivated by what he sees on the outside that he never becomes curious about the woman within. I want a man who yearns to know me deeperāto know my story, what shaped me, what Iāve overcome, what makes me laugh, what makes me cry, and why I go so hard for God. š„¹šš½
Yes, I want him to think Iām beautiful. But more than anything, I want him to fall in love with the parts of me that a picture could never show him.
Declare this, sis: ššš½
By faith, Iām believing that my next relationship will lead to marriage. Iām not preparing my heart for another heartbreak, another situationship, another almost-love, or another connection Iāll have to heal from.
Iām praying that the next man I give my heart to will be THE ONEāmy answered prayer, my safe place, my best friend, and eventually, my husband. ā¤ļøš
God is sending you a faithful, loving, God-fearing, praying, caring, transparent, loyal, respectful, purposeful, communicative, considerate, kind, emotionally available, patient, understanding, hardworking, intelligent, well-dressed, spontaneous, hopeless-romantic, lover-boy kind of man who listens well, loves deeply, knows how to communicate, and isnāt afraid to show you how he feels.
And yes, sis⦠heās gonna be FINE too.
A man who wonāt make loving you feel like a burden, but will feel honored to love you, choose you, protect your heart, and build a life with you. ā¤ļøššš½
Sis, youāre about to be the happiest youāve ever been in a relationship. The next man you give your heart to is going to change your last name. ā¤ļøš
So donāt let this waiting season make you impatient enough to settle for another almost-love. Keep your standards. Keep living your life. Keep trusting God. What youāre waiting for is too important to rush just because youāre tired of waiting.
Wait well, sis. The goal isnāt just to be chosenāitās to be chosen well, loved intentionally, and ready when the right love finds you. š¤
For the Woman Getting Tired:
If youāve been waiting for love for years, I know ājust keep waitingā can get exhausting. So tonight, donāt pressure yourself to have perfect faith, just give God the little bit you have left. āLord, Iām tired, but I still trust You with my heart.āā¤ļø
November NOās šš¤
NO to entertaining people out of loneliness.
NO to going back to what God helped us leave.
NO to ignoring red flags because we like somebody.
NO to situationships and almost-relationships.
NO to accepting breadcrumbs.
NO to chasing inconsistent people.
NO to confusing chemistry with compatibility.
NO to breaking our boundaries for temporary attention.
NO to comparing our timeline to everybody elseās.
NO to neglecting our bodies, minds, and spiritual lives.
NO to procrastinating on the things we keep praying about.
NO to negative self-talk.
NO to shrinking ourselves to keep somebody comfortable.
NO to sacrificing our peace just to have somebody.
NO to letting loneliness make decisions for us.
Iām not sharing this from a place of judgment because Iāve been there too. Iāve had sex outside of marriage, and I had to come to a place where I allowed God to convict me about it. ā¤ļøšš½
I began to understand that sex is so much deeper than a physical act. God created something beautiful and intimate to be experienced within the safety of marriage, and for me, doing it outside of His design came with attachments, soul ties, heartbreak, and healing I never want to experience again.
So now, Iām choosing abstinenceānot because I think Iām better than anyone, but because I want to do love differently this time. I want God at the center of my next relationship, even when obedience is hard.
Respectfully, my future marriage has a maximum capacity of TWO. No additional members are needed. ā¤ļø
God, give her peace in the waiting. Donāt let her do it her way and leave you out this time. Block anything that comes to distract her and delay her from what youāre doing.
Not physically. Not emotionally. Not secretly. Not through inappropriate DMs, āharmlessā flirting, or entertaining women who clearly want more than friendship.
When God sends me my husband, I want a man who understands that faithfulness is more than just not sleeping with another woman. Itās about boundaries, respect, loyalty, and protecting our marriage even when Iām not in the room.
And baby, Iām giving that SAME energy right back. Whatās expected of him will be expected of me too.
Respectfully, that is OUR marriage. No additional members needed. ā¤ļø
Waiting on God and choosing to do it His way is NOT for the weak. ā¤ļøšš½
It takes discipline to walk away from what feels good when you know it isnāt good for you. It takes strength to remain abstinent when you have desires. It takes faith to stop forcing relationships, stop going back to familiar people, and trust God when you have no idea when your prayer will be answered.
Some days youāll get tired. Some nights youāll feel lonely. Youāll question whether doing it Godās way is even worth it.
But obedience will cost you something. And sometimes that āsomethingā is temporary comfort for the peace of knowing you didnāt have to compromise yourself to receive what you prayed for.
God, for the woman reading this who desires marriage, weāre bringing that desire boldly before You. If marriage is part of Your will for her, prepare her heart and prepare the heart of the man You have for her. Order their steps, align their timing, and let nothing outside of Your will delay, distract, or deceive her.
Lord, as we look toward 2027, weāre praying with expectationānot desperation. Donāt let the desire to be married cause us to settle, force connections, ignore red flags, or run ahead of You. Give us discernment to recognize what is from You and courage to walk away from what isnāt.
And God, if 2027 is the year You change her relationship status from single to wife, let her testimony be, āIt was worth the wait.ā Until then, keep preparing us for the love weāve been praying for.
In Jesus name, Amen. š„¹šš½ā¤ļø
Sometimes the hardest part of waiting on God is watching other people receive what youāve been praying for. But their answered prayer is not proof that God forgot yours. Keep trusting Him, even when you donāt understand the timing.
I donāt care who agrees or disagrees, sex outside of marriage is a sin. And yes, many of us, including myself, have fallen short in this area. But whew⦠yāall get real quiet when THIS conversation comes up. š®āšØ
Sex is deeper than a physical act. God created it for the covenant of marriage, and stepping outside of His design can leave us carrying attachment, heartbreak, regret, and wounds we never expected. I had to learn that for myself.
This isnāt about shameāitās about conviction, repentance, and choosing differently. Abstinence isnāt always easy, but experiencing intimacy with my future husband without guilt or compromise and within Godās design? That will be worth the wait. ā¤ļøšš½š
I canāt wait to worship with my man.š„¹ I look forward to those moments while weāre courting and one day in our marriageā¦worshiping together, holding hands while we pray, covering one another in prayer, and keeping God at the center of our relationship.
I donāt know when or how God will bring it all together, but I can feel my heart becoming expectant for this kind of love. Until then, Iāll keep praying, preparing, and trusting God with my love story. ā¤ļøš
I donāt just pray for a good husband. I pray that Iām becoming a good wife too. ā¤ļøš
I want the man I marry to look at me one day and thank God for answering his prayers. I want to be his safe place, his peace, his best friend, his biggest supporter, and a woman who loves him well.
Iām not just waiting for my answered prayer⦠Iām preparing to be his too. š¤
