i do think in 2026 fans should be able to ask the actors about a queer storyline that was explicitly written into the show by queer writers

Things like “destiel questions in 2026?” Yeah and? As if that relationship itself isn’t one of the most important parts of the show. I don’t care of interpretation, it’s a man showing romantic feelings for another man. It happened. It’s canon. Why is it shocking to talk about it?

I think most fans know supernatural more than the actors bc they watch the show in order, and have multiple times. That’s why whenever you see actors like Rob and Rich watch the show in its entirety for the first time, they go “oh, it really was that gay.”

destiel didn’t become canon bc of cas’s confession. even if he had never said it, they’d still be canonically each other’s love interest. cas was TEXTUALLY established as dean’s colette (love interest) in 10x14 & dean was TEXTUALLY established as cas’s “human weakness” in 12x10.
