Climbing wooden hill

This week in Marlow

FT Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 Another disappointing and impotent performance by the Hornets - Wolves dominated throughout and scoreline fails to really reflect that dominance but nevertheless still results in another defeat for the Golden Boys Lack of creation and no real goal scoring threat is now seeing Watford head towards League One Can see Pozzo getting trigger happy with Dionisi who unfortunately gets less positive with every game. It is, of course, the lack of quality and depth in squad that is the real issue Anybody seen Antonio?

Vata on for Bravo - Dionisi’s last throw of dice Still Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0

Doumbia and Payero on for Boadu and Kjerrumgaard Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 75 minutes gone

Throw of the dice as Dionisi replaces wingbacks Bola and Diatta with similar like for like offensive options with Zemura and Maamma Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 A marginal improvement by the Hornets in second half - have had a couple of shots and a corner and a little more possession

HT: Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 Hornets have done well to get nil! Wolves all over us - double figure shots vs none from the away side Wolves have also had eight corners to the visitors one Wolves have had 76% possession - Hornets have only made around 100 passes and with less than 80% accuracy Lots of attacking options on the bench but mainly wide players - Vata, Maamma, Nabzada, Zemura, Mavididi, Traore Time for Dionisi to work some magic - we’re in trouble but only one goal in it

Game over? @WatfordFC have been battered since the kick off and Wolves have, expectedly, taken the lead after 35 minutes. Hornets have lots of attacking options on the bench but Dionisi needs to set up much more adventurously if we are to get anything other than disappointment from this game. Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0

Tomorrow Never Comes hits 1000 streams This original song - written shortly after my triple heart by-pass in 2021 and with a theme of Carpe Diem - was released in September across all of the streaming channels It also features on my Prodigal Son album - available to download or as a CD via @Bandcamp michaelsday.bandcamp.com/alb… LYRICS When I wake up in the morning, with you lying by my side. Another day is dawning, there's nowhere for our love to hide. Our bodies move together and I need you more than words can say. Let's not put off 'til tomorrow, what we could do today. Let's not put off 'til tomorrow, what we could do today. They say tomorrow never comes. They say tomorrow's never here. They say tomorrow never comes. So we must live today as if it's here. So we must live today as if it's here. Don't want to waste our time and miss the chance. Fighting tears and seeing life through rose tinted glass. Want to explore, get high and find a better way. Let's not put off 'til tomorrow, what we could do today. Let's not put off 'til tomorrow, what we could do today. They say tomorrow never comes. They say tomorrow's never here. They say tomorrow never comes. So we must live today as if it's here. So we must live today as if it's here. I hope you'll listen to my story, I hope that you will understand. I hope that you will be there for me, I hope that you will hold my hand. And we can go through life together and we can find a way. Let's not put off 'til tomorrow, what we could do today. Let's not put off 'til tomorrow, what we could do today.
