A community centre is more than a building. It's where kids learn to skate and swim, families make memories, and communities come together.
That's why we're proud to partner with the Town of Taber on a 10-year naming rights agreement that will see the Taber Community Centre become the Inter Pipeline Community Centre.
With a presence in the southern Alberta region spanning decades, Inter Pipeline is proud to support a facility that means so much to local residents, including many of our employees who live, work and raise their families in the Taber area.

Our Pioneer 2 offgas plant safely executed a planned maintenance outage earlier this fall to ensure efficient, reliable, safe operations for decades to come. P2 recovers an ethane-plus mixture from oil sands upgrader offgas, a by-product of bitumen upgrading operations, helping to reduce GHG emissions.
One focus of the maintenance was replacing and upgrading the brazed aluminum heat exchanger (BAHX), which is the heart of P2 with 7 different process streams integrated into a single unit. The replacement is a growth project that creates additional value across different operating conditions.
The new BAHX weighs 92,500 lbs compared with 66,000 lbs for the original BAHX. While maintaining approximately the same height and width, the new BAHX incorporates a more efficient internal design and is just over three feet longer than the original. This allowed the existing structural module to be reused and reinforced to accommodate the new BAHX.
Projects like this help ensure IPL continues to safely and reliably process products that support our customers while creating long-term value for the communities where we operate.

Inter Pipeline was proud to be a part of another great year at Calgary Corporate Challenge!
A huge thank you to everyone who represented our company and to our peers for the friendly competition. Events like these strengthen connections among our team, build community and remind us that some of our best relationships are formed beyond our day-to-day work.
To our employees, whether you were competing, cheering from the sidelines or volunteering at the events, you helped showcase what makes IPL such a great place to work. Thanks for bringing your energy, enthusiasm and team spirit. We're already looking forward to next year!
Inter Pipeline honours National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by making conscious reconciliation efforts throughout the year.
Through initiatives like our #OneThing campaign, employees are encouraged to participate in at least one action that furthers their learning and supports their personal reconciliation journey.
Employees from across our offices have also taken part in our company-wide tipi project, learning about the history, cultural significance and assembly of tipis before creating hand-painted designs unique to their office, like the Brooks office tipi featured here.

Strong communities are built on strong relationships.
At our annual Cochrane Extraction Plant community barbecue, we were happy to welcome nearby landowners and community members to share a meal, learn more about our plant operations, and meet our team. Having been part of the Cochrane community for over 50 years, opportunities like this help us stay connected with our neighbours and the community we call home.
Open communication is an important part of how we do business, and we're grateful to everyone who braved the rain to join us. Engaging directly with our neighbours helps us build trust, better understand community perspectives and maintain the strong relationships that support our long-term presence in the region.

In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, Inter Pipeline is proud to encourage our employees to build understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions through ongoing learning, listening, and trust - an approach we advance through initiatives like our #OneThing campaign. Through this campaign, we're encouraging employees to take one intentional step such as engaging with Indigenous voices, participating in community events, or expanding their knowledge, to build understanding in meaningful, lasting ways.
To help support this ongoing learning, we create opportunities to bring this learning to life, like a recent lunch in our Calgary office, where employees experienced traditional cuisine prepared by a local Indigenous caterer and explored new additions to IPL’s Indigenous Room, a dedicated space featuring cultural artifacts and learning resources.

On weekends, Alicia Pope trades the worksite for the rally obedience ring, competing alongside her dog Cloe where success depends on teamwork, communication and technical skill.
