Ostrom is a really great entry point for thinking about coordination and society. Her work is very approachable and I think would broadly appeal to people, even those that don’t normally read economics. High recommend.
TODAY.✨️ We’re bringing this series to a close with a remarkable salon on Elinor Ostrom and her radical rethinking of how societies organize themselves. Join Interintellect CEO @TheAnnaGat to explore the enduring power of the commons, where cooperation and collective governance offer an alternative to the familiar divide between markets and states. interintellect.com/salons/re…

Ah man, wish I was there for this one. Looking forward to watching. Biographically it’s right up my alley.
In this Interintellect SuperSalon, psychologist and author @drvantongeren joined our founder @TheAnnaGat for a conversation about the search for meaning and purpose after leaving religion. They explored the psychological challenges of moving beyond traditional belief systems, how people navigated uncertainty in the absence of established religious frameworks, and what it took to rebuild a sense of meaning and fulfillment in an increasingly secular world.

This is the book I’ve wanted to teach as a stand-alone media studies course for years. I hear @Alex_Danco did a great reading group over at @interintellect_ some time back. #jealous
is it just me or is everyone hearing more references to this book lately? may have to check it out

What an honor to attend this ❤️ Lea Ypi hosted by Irina Dumitrescu -- on Interintellect
What a remarkable Supersalon we had with @lea_ypi and Irina Dumitrescu, exploring "Indignity: A Life Reimagined" and the tangled relationship between family memory, historical truth, and political history. From secret service archives to the intimate stories that shape our understanding of the past, we reflected on the dignity of those who came before us and the responsibility of telling their stories. Thank you to Lea, Irina, and everyone who joined us for this memorable evening.📚️❤️

I'm hosting @petersuderman in an @interintellect_ salon about cocktails 🍸 Over the 19th century, American bartenders invented the cocktail, and ever since, the very concept of glamour has been infused with the sensuality of chilled glass and a strong aftertaste. interintellect.com/salons/on…

Namedropping my friends 😂
In our Reading Economics Together series, @TheAnnaGat dug into @erikphoel 2017 essay, "There's No Free Lunch," through a Hayekian lens. The core argument: intelligence is never truly general. Because the real world is hyper-complex and constantly shifting, massive statistical models and aggregated data inevitably wash out crucial local nuances. Hayek would argue AGI is impossible because no system can capture all that distributed context.
