Wedding historic biblical Christian orthodoxy with the Republican Party is syncretism. Wedding historic biblical Christian orthodoxy with the Democratic Party is syncretism. The White Evangelical Church has largely done this with the Republican Party & the Black Evangelical Church has largely done this with the Democratic Party. Because there has never been a vote by either convention to validate what I’ve said here, both would plausibly deny what I’ve claimed here. However, it’s no secret in practical realities, it’s widely known & observed that what I’ve said here is truth, evidenced by VP Pence. & VP Harris giving speeches at annual gatherings in most recent years: Pence at SBC; Harris at NBC. As a member of both SBC & NBC, I know for certain both conventions largely would love to see abortion on demand outlawed, & the majority on both sides would rather see sensible gun control measures in place, such as: 1)background checks with no loopholes 2) raising age requirements to purchase firearms 3)banning assault rifle weapons & ammunition for guns designed solely for mass murdering(although there are many in the SBC who would oppose banning assault weapons-Ar-15, & similar assault weapons). The reason we cannot pass legislation to enact a constitutional ban on abortion, or legislation to ban buying & selling AR-15’s/ammunition for AR-15—is not because we’re divided by faith, but, rather because we’re divided by politics & race. It’s syncretism in the church, and division over race related matters, that’s hindering legislation to advance the Kingdom agenda we all share in common to protect innocent, unborn lives, in the womb…and lives walking in the malls, churches, & schools in America. When Clinton outlawed assault weapons sales in America, mass murders stemming from assault rifles dramatically decreased. When the ban ended under George W. Bush, mass murders stemming from assault rifle weapons as AR-15’s, dramatically increased. So, the proof is in the pudding—just as bans on abortion reduce abortions; bans on assault weapons reduce mass murders. The syncretism in the church has placed blood on our hands. As much as everyone wants to claim to be pro-life from the womb to the tomb, the truth is the syncretism we practice has contributed to a death culture, & an outlook in America that’s dismal, dark, demented, delusional, dangerous, destructive, disastrous, & ultimately doomed. The evangelical church on both sides needs to repent, so the church can be the church; the salt of the earth, the light of the world, a city that sitteth upon a hill—that rises above secular politics, that no longer engages in the sin of syncretism, for the sake & safety of all Americans, & to the glory of God.
