After 29 years of marriage, I can sum up my best advice in three words: Just. Hang. On. Before your marriage can thrive, it has to survive. I promise you this: All the good stuff is on the other side of whatever problem you’re facing. When you feel like giving up, that’s the time to double down. Let’s think logically: Nobody gets divorced during the good times. That means THE WHOLE BALL GAME is weathering the storms. And trust me, the storms will come. Years ago, when my marriage was struggling, an older mentor told me something that stuck: A great marriage is built, not found. If your partner… > Isn’t crazy (increasingly rare these days) > Shares your core values > Wants a great relationship …then you’ve got all the building blocks you need. But you still have to BUILD. And just as importantly, STOP tearing down. Try this simple hack for 30 days: Each morning, say, “I have the best spouse in the world.” Even if you’re not sure you believe it, say it anyway. Make it your mantra. Say it to your partner. YOU GO FIRST. I bet you’ll be shocked at how they respond in kind. Words have power. What you say shapes your beliefs, which inform your actions. It becomes self-fulfilling. Burn the boats and go all in. There’s a massive difference between being 99% committed and 100% committed. These days my wife and I talk all the time about how great a life we’ve built together. I shudder to think where I’d be if we didn’t hang on through the tough times. Nearly three decades in, we’re still building. I encourage you to do the same. 📸: 2006: One in the nest, building. 2026: Empty nest, still building. P.S. It goes without saying that “just hang on” doesn’t apply to abusive relationships.

Look at these charts, something is broken. It's a social crisis moment we're having. Why it's happening: - Rapid inflation - Social apps more addictive than ever - Spatial computing - Rise of immersive and social gaming - People are playing the "creator" game - Going out is expensive - Devices are more "controllable" than the outside world - Peer pressure to be on devices (social, work) We're all kinda drunk on technology. Anxiety and sadness at all time levels. Someone will make us $1B helpings us be less addicted to our phones and technology over the next 5 years. Someone will make $1B helping us be more addicted to our phone and technology over the next 5 years. They won't be the same person. The two ways to make money in this world are: 1) Get people more addicted to screens 2) Get people off screens You're either building the next big board games company or the next big dating app for VR You're either building the next big peer-to-peer events company or the next big internet community You're either building the next big Soho House or the next big SaaS app You get the idea. People are craving connection. It's just coming out in weird ways. Source: The Atlantic @DKThomp

✨ I copy-pasted Photo AI and Interior AI's landing page style and put it on Nomad List and conversion is now up from 1% to almost 4% I keep copy pasting from project to project now: - Interior AI v2's landing page is a copy of Photo AI's landing page - Photo AI in turn is a copy of Nomad List's landing page from a year ago - with lots of stuff I added from @oliverbrocato's Tabs Sex Chocolate landing page like press mentions and testimonials, he said it was highly A/B tested to convert really well so I took a lot of things from there It also features @NapierHolland's famous bullet point benefits list on the landing to summarize the product like: 📸 Take 100% AI photos in any pose, place or action ⚡️ Transform your sketches and SketchUp files into photorealistic renders 🧪 Research destinations and find your best place to live Sign up + login is unified into one email box, if user is new an account is created after payment, if user exists they can login I'm measuring everything I add/change with @SimpleAnalytic's events funnels now so I can quickly see what works and what doesn't It saves a lot of time having the same landing page set up for 3 projects, next is doing it on Remote OK too

Munger lived such an incredible life, mainly because he did whatever he wanted and said whatever he wanted without fear of others disagreeing. "I did not intend to get rich. I just wanted to get independent." teapawt.net/exec_sum/status/172960…

There are often two thoughts when it comes to AI and your job. 1. AI won't replace us, it will enhance us 2. AI will completely erase jobs I believe that it will do both. AI will replace jobs, but those who learn to leverage it will win. The choice is yours.

Either create wealth or a passive income, or become a monk, or do what you love more than money. What remains is taming the mind and the body, seeking truth, creating love and art. The world has nothing to offer you. And you are free.
