#147 Jeff Buckley, Grace. I seem to have broken the limit for threaded xeets so let’s try this again. Honestly barely knew of him beyond the name. Had no idea he died so young. Great singer. Not super into his music overall. This seems forced.

#163 Various Artists, Saturday Night Fever. This is disco to most people I guess? Stayin’ Alive is pretty iconic. Disco Inferno is a hell of an ender.

#164 Johnny Cash, At Folsom Prison. The whole thing is such a weird gimmick but must have been a lot of fun for all those degenerates who got to see this show.

I’ve decided to listen through Rolling Stone’s top 500 albums (or which are available on Spotify) and deliver some hot takes. Here we go! – at Inglewood, CA

#145 Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP. I was all about the TRL singles at the time but wasn’t too into this past that. In retrospect, the rest of the album is mostly pretty crass to the point of parody of what seemed genuinely clever on his first album. Many skips.

#146 Blondie, Parallel Lines. I always liked their big hits but never really listened to them beyond what I heard of those. This is a great album. Interesting genre elements mixed together and great energy.
