Last week a friend spent 45 minutes on the phone calling people, surfing the internet, just to find a gynecologist in Lagos.
The same week, another friend was in Abuja visiting family when his wife started showing postpartum symptoms. He spent hours searching online, calling friends, asking around and found nothing.
They ended up going to the pharmacy to pick up drugs.
Two people in Two major cities in urgent, vulnerable, deeply personal medical moments.
Same result, nowhere to turn.
That is the problem.
Hi, I’m Emmanuel and this is why I’m building @getaidar
Aidar is a healthcare discovery and booking platform that connects patients with verified doctors, nurses, specialists, and medical facilities across Nigeria, for clinic visits, home visits, and virtual consultations.
The problem has never been that qualified medical professionals don’t exist here. They do.
The problem is that accessing them should not be extremely difficult.
Healthcare access should not be a privilege reserved for people with the right connections, enough time to search, or the luck of being in the right city.
It should be as simple as opening your phone.
Search for a doctor, nurse, or specialist near you.
Book a clinic visit, a home visit, or a virtual consultation.
Pay securely through the platform.
Whether you are in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, or anywhere in between, Aidar is being built so that the next time someone you love needs urgent medical attention, it is easily accessible.
Our waitlist is live at getaidar.com and our public launch is coming very soon.

If not for Messi, I see no reason why any non-Argentine would support Argentina. They’re a shitty team and horrible people.
