Serbia rompe con Vuçic después de 14 años. Probablemente hayan sido la corrupción y el desgaste, la militarización, la privatización(¿y el alineamiento con Israel?) más que una pulsión proeuropea lo que haya prendido la mecha, aunque quieran enmarcarlo en el eje de otros movimientos liberales-estudiantiles del este de Europa.
Ahora bien, esta Lista Estudiantil es una amalgama heterogénea y poco estructurada que quizá termine partiéndose por sus muchas almas y porque (como Von der Leyen ya celebra) se le intentará llevar hacia el lado atlántico del mundo, aunque su programa y sus reivindicaciones, (y banderas) como explica el post, sean bastante más complejos de lo que a simple vista se ve y no tengan la agenda intervenida de otros escenarios en Europa oriental.
Ahora veremos cómo configurar un país a partir de este escenario. Pero es curioso que los mismos liberales y centros derecha europeos que detestan la protesta estudiantil o la miran de soslayo en Europa occidental sí romanticen la de Serbia. Del mismo modo, es interesante que Vuçic se aferre a eso cuando ha regalado el país a los grandes fondos (Belgrade Waterfront como símbolo) ha participado del rearme mano a mano con Israel y su relación con Rusia dijo él este año, se había enfriado, aunque el pragmatismo y la relación energética y cultural está ahí. Es geografía e historia.
Cualquiera que conozca algo el país y la región sabe que hay heridas que no sanan (OTAN, marginación y aislamiento a Serbia, durísima posguerra). Merz hace un año dijo a Belgrado: “o Moscú o Bruselas. Tenéis que elegir.” Porque el mero hecho de que puedan ser autonomos, soberanos o bisagra en su política exterior es ya visto como una amenaza.
En todo caso, esto es Balcanes y Europa oriental. No vale acercarse solo cuando hay elecciones, a pontificar sobre lo que te gustaría que fuera o no fuera. La herida de la Historia del continente es mucho más profunda y requiere mucho más que campismo barato.

2) Hareket, Kasım 2024’te Novi Sad tren istasyonundaki sundurma çökmesi ve 16 kişinin hayatını kaybetmesinin ardından büyüdü. Öğrenciler, olayın soruşturulması, kamu ihalelerinin şeffaflaştırılması, yolsuzlukla ve organize suçla mücadele, bağımsız kurumların yeniden tesis edilmesi gibi taleplerle bugüne kadar sayısız eylem yaptı ve zaman içerisinde büyüdü. Tren kazası ve sonrasında yaşanan ihmaller/kayırmalar, genel bir Vucic karşıtlığına dönüştü.
3) Adaylar üniversitelerdeki öğrenci genel kurulları aracılığıyla belirlendi. Listeye akademisyenler, doktorlar, hukukçular, ekonomistler, sanatçılar ve sporcular dahil edildi.
4) Hareketin yol haritası ideolojik bir dönüşümden ziyade rejim değişikliği ve kurumsal reform üzerinde duruyor. Ücretsiz okul kitapları ve ilaç fiyatlarının düşürülmesi gibi sosyal vaatler...

Ilija Srdanović - 250 kişilik Öğrenci Listesi'nin ilk sırasında yer alan kardiyolog ve acil tıp profesörü.
Radomir Šajčić - Öğrenciler adına açıklama da yapan akademisyenlerden biri. Belgrad Üniversitesi profesörü.
Dejan Šoškić - Merkez Bankası eski başkanı, ekonomist. Muhalif pozisyonunu uzun süre 'bağımsız' olarak sürdürse de öğrencilerin listesine katıldı.
Eski basketbolcu Dejan Bodiroga ile oyuncular Tihomir Stanić ve Dragan Jovanović gibi bazı ünlü isimler de listede öne çıkan isimler arasında.
Önemli not: Bu kişiler, hareketin ideolojik veya siyasi önderleri değil. Asıl kararlar, öğrenci kurullarında alınıyor.

Hareketin açıkladığı pozisyonlar, hem Rusya'yla ilişkileri sürdürmek hem de Avrupa'yla işbirliğini korumak isteyen bir çizgiye işaret ediyor. Örneğin hareket, Eylül ayında açıkladığı dış politika pozisyonunda Rusya'ya yaptırım uygulanmamasını savundu.
Avrupa Birliği ile işbirliğinin gerekli olduğunu belirtiyorlar; fakat üyeliğin referanduma sunulmasını savunuyorlar. Bu, AB üyeliğine koşulsuz ve hızlı biçimde ilerleyen klasik bir Avrupa yanlısı muhalefet çizgisinden farklı.
Hareket, NATO üyeliği konusunda açık ve ortak bir tutum ilan etmiş değil. Aynı şekilde, Kosova'yı Sırbistan'ın ayrılmaz parçası olarak görüyorlar. Bu da, Kosova'nın bağımsızlığının tanınmasını savunan Avrupa yanlısı muhalefet çevrelerinden ayrıldıkları temel noktalardan biri.

This investigation of the failed back-channel attempt in 2022-2023 to reach a peaceful settlement on terms highly favorable to Ukraine exposes as flawed some of the “unquestioned truths” in the discussion of the war.
For example, the idea that Putin has been bluffing about nuclear strikes. Or that all negotiations and compromise proposals have been a sham, because Putin would never accept anything but Ukraine’s capitulation. Or “Russian imperialism” as the primary explanation of the war. In a weaker position after the painful setbacks of fall 2022, Putin drew his red lines, which are, surprise, surprise, Ukraine’s neutrality and Crimea. In 2025, at the peak of Russia’s accelerating advances, he was satisfied with the “Anchorage” terms, which are basically the Istanbul demands plus territory, used as a punishment and a means of pressing for their acceptance. They are still miles away from anything that could be called Ukraine’s capitulation, the elimination of its separate identity, the destruction of the independent Ukrainian state, and so on.
That these and similar dangerous and absurd ideas dominated the expert field is a sign of a deep intellectual crisis.

Ukrainian MP confirms that 2023 peace plan, which was reported by @FT & accepted by Putin but rejected by Zelensky & Biden administration, envisioned:
"- Russia withdraws its troops from most of the four oblasts it had just declared “annexed.”
- The new line of demarcation runs roughly along the line as of February 24, 2022: Crimea and the part of Donbas that Russia controlled before the full-scale invasion.
- Ukraine recognizes Russian control over Crimea. - Ukraine grants Russia an unobstructed land corridor to Crimea.
- The ceasefire regime is guaranteed by NATO countries that provide protection for Ukraine.
- Russia begins negotiations with the US on its own security guarantees.
