Knock knock. Trick or treat? 🍬
Jupiter is handing out candy for next 3 days.
You just have to come to the door.
How to play:
1. Rip a $250 Trick or Treat Pack (not eligible for any other pack pull)
2. Quote tweet your pull replay
Some of you will get a treat. Some of you will get tricked.
Good pull or bad pull, nobody knows who gets what.
Worst case: a firm digital handshake and a “thanks for playing.”
Btw we're goin LIVE in 5mins with @solanagaming
Happy Halloween 🎃

Even GOLD is a zer0boi now
The flippening is coming
Be ready
“LABS CAN MAKE GOLD. GOLD IS FINISHED, SEND IT TO ZERO”
Nah nah slow down friends lmao.
Turning other elements into gold is already possible (I know, it’s fkn insane), but producing it cheaply is a completely different question.
This is not like producing lab diamonds.
I looked into the fusion proposal behind all of this because I invest in gold myself:
- Projected output: ~2 tonnes per gigawatt of fusion heat per full-power year.
- Value at today’s gold price: ~$256M.
- That’s before downtime, extraction, maintenance or paying for the entire fucking reactor. We modeled $5B upfront, but there’s no confirmed commercial price.
- The paper’s example also involves radioactive impurities that could require roughly 14 years of decay storage, depending on purification and clearance.
I ran an illustrative $5B reactor model with 70% uptime, 95% gold recovery and an 8% required return over 30 years.
Here’s what that looks like:
- Sellable gold produced: ~1.33 tonnes/year, worth ~$170M at today’s price BEFORE accounting for the wait to sell it.
- Electricity sales: ~$138M/year, assuming 300 MW of net output while operating and a $75/MWh selling price.
- Operating costs: $150M/year assumed.
Recovering the $5B investment while earning that 8% return: another ~$444M/year.
That’s ~$594M in annual economic costs against ~$308M in revenue, EVEN IF the gold could sell immediately (it can’t)
A ~$286M annual shortfall. Waiting years to sell the gold makes the numbers worse.
These are all assumptions btw, not a commercial quote. Costs could be higher and the projected gold output is also unproven at industrial scale.
Could this eventually become viable? Yes. Cheaper reactors and better processing could change the calculation.
Does this mean someone just unlocked an unlimited money printer?
Absolutely fucking not lol.
Under these assumptions, the economics don’t work. We can’t pay investors with a physics breakthrough (at least for now).
