Scott Parker is currently flying into London to sign his contract at West Ham ⚒️
Here’s @Rob_Arms_ reacting to this morning’s huge developments, with Nuno heading out the door:

Scott Parker is one of my favourite West Ham players of all time and in my eyes a club legend.
That doesn’t always guarantee success, but – in our current situation – someone who knows the club and understands the fans is a hugely beneficial factor.
His Championship pedigree is undoubted and he’s man every player can get behind.

Wow.
Nuno Espírito Santo sacked as West Ham manager.
If I’m being totally honest it’s comes a few games earlier than I expected, but it’s hard to argue with the decision.
The next managerial appointment is arguably the biggest in our history.
Mads Hermansen just isn’t good enough for this level. How many more chances can he be given?
Alphonse Areola, even if he’s now a part-time DJ, has got to be a better option than this.
West Ham’s most damning performance yet under Nuno. Shapeless, weak and so vulnerable on the counter.
Four home games without a win isn’t good enough for play-offs, let alone automatic promotion.
We are too deep in the season for this kind of result, there are no excuses.
Instant turnaround required otherwise patience with our manager will run out very quickly, if it hasn’t already.

In this week's @LoadedEN segment, @AliMaxwell_ explains why West Ham match-winner vs Swansea is going in his EFL Ultimate Team and why he thinks he's 'The Championship's highest ceiling player.' 🎮
In the grand scheme of things we should be happy to take the point and move on, but that was close to being one of the most shameful performances in West Ham’s recent history.
The first half was nothing short of disgraceful. For all the build up this week, the gravity of the game appeared to have no bearing on our players other than how nervous they looked.
Thought Mohamadou Kanté was superb after coming on. Shame a loose touch led to a red but at least he made the right decision to bring the man down.
With each game that passes, I’m more stunned that Jarrod Bowen elected to stay at West Ham. Surely the best player the Championship has ever seen?
After a rough start, it’s hard not to find all of this incredibly enjoyable.
A big part of that is turning up actually expecting to win. Even victories in the Premier League often felt like something we had to suffer for.
More crucially, there’s no VAR. You can watch a goal go in, glance quickly at the linesman or referee, and then let the pandemonium unfold. It makes an enormous difference to the stadium experience.
Don’t get me wrong: I want us back in the Premier League as soon as possible. But there’s so much to appreciate about this.
This is absolutely the right decision and should be the first priority if we do get relegated.
Nuno hasn’t got every decision right but he’s improved us immeasurably from the shambles of a side he took over.
We will desperately need elements of stability amongst what will likely be a chaotic summer.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: West Ham United want Nuno Espírito Santo to carry on as their head coach even if they are relegated from the Premier League

Lucas Paquetá should be remembered as one of West Ham’s great mavericks. The highs were high and the lows were low.
Mercurial, unplayable on his day. Frustrating and borderline insane on others.
He’ll always have a place in West Ham’s history thanks to that pass to Bowen on that night in Prague.
Been through emotional turmoil and I don’t harbour any bad blood towards him for leaving.

The Olympic Stadium is chocked full of tourists. Big group near me last night kept chanting ‘come on Fulham’. West Ham have lost total control of the stadium. There’s no planning for who is sitting where, no defined sections, empty white seats everywhere. Nobody is in control.
Call me delusional but I actually thought we played *quite* well for decent chunks of tonight’s game. I also thought we looked ok against Brighton, Villa, etc.
I also back Nuno to keep his job. The stats hardly support me here up but I do see a semblance of a structure taking shape, Wolves game aside.
The issue is obviously points on the board. We are too far through the season to keep dropping them and games will dry up quick.
This is the most desperate situation we’ve been in since 2011. Time to find out who’s going to stand up and be counted.
West Ham’s biggest victory and performance in a very long time. Thought Paqueta and Potts, in particular, were brilliant. Crowd/atmosphere well above average, too.
Huge platform for Nuno to build on going into Burnley at home next week. #COYI
Well, that concludes the worst home campaign I can remember. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more disillusioned from the football club. Serious changes needed in the summer. West Ham have been borderline unwatchable all season, and just so so boring.
A lot of wasted energy being used on the Upton Park vs London Stadium debate. I think we all miss aspects of our old home, but we’re not going back and we’re not leaving our new one.
By all means push for redesigned seating, structural changes, etc. We all have a part to play in improving the matchday experience.
We’ve seen what a fortress it can be when we’re all aligned. There’s no European trophy without the London Stadium.
