The ISKCON North American Regional Governing Body has adopted a resolution establishing permanent restrictions on individuals determined, through criminal court proceedings or ISKCON Child Protection Office processes, to have committed serious or repeated acts of child abuse.
This policy reflects our responsibility to ensure that ISKCON temples, programs, festivals, and communities remain safe environments for children and families, fostering care, protection, and spiritual growth.
Govardhan Ecovillage is a living example of how spirituality and sustainability can come together to create a meaningful way of life. The first full moon of autumn marks the remembrance of Sri Krishna’s transcendental dance with the gopis of Vrindavan.
This sacred occasion invites us to hear about the Lord’s divine pastimes with reverence and deepen our understanding of pure devotional service. Let us celebrate Sharad Purnima by remembering Sri Krishna and glorifying His transcendental name, form, qualities, and pastimes.
The sacred month of Kartik Masa (Damodara Masa) in 2026 will be observed from 26 October to 24 November. Kartik Masa, the beloved month of Lord Damodara, invites us to come closer to Krishna through sincere prayers, lamp offerings, and remembrance of His transcendental pastimes.
Celebrating ISKCON’s 60th anniversary and continuing the legacy of Srila Prabhupada, whose historic visit to South Africa marked its 50th anniversary in 2025, ISKCON South Africa’s Bhakti Yoga Society (BYS), a university outreach initiative, hosted the national student retreat “Inner Adventure” from September 11–13, 2026, at Banana Beach Holiday Resort, KwaZulu-Natal.
Inspired by Srila Prabhupada’s engagement with university students at the former University of Durban-Westville and WITS in 1975, The retreat brought together 66 students and facilitators from several South African cities to explore spirituality, identity and contemporary life through the timeless wisdom of Krishna Consciousness.
The programme featured kirtan, japa meditation, yoga, meaningful discussions, debates and team-building activities, fostering spiritual growth, deeper connections and lasting friendships among young people.
So everyone should join this movement and be sure of his activity, result, good result. That is real United Nation—to work in Krishna Consciousness. Every, any department, if we work for Lord Krishna then it is perfect. That is sure.
